Dirty Burger (Kentish Town)

• Soho House has well and truly put it's stamp on Kentish Town with Chicken Shop
• Dirty Burger is round the back in a corrogated iron shack
• The menu is very simple with just cheeseburger on the menu with either crinkle cut or onion fries on the menu
• After a fair few burgers recently I was disappointed with this one
• The burger was too well cooked
• At these prices if you are in the area and craving a burger this is still miles better than a McDs
• So tucked behind Pizza East and the Chicken Shop is Dirty Burger a small
• Whose view is a parking lot and a gym
• Through the doors is one metal table
• I went with the standard cheeseburger asking for it medium rare with the onion fries and chips
• The cheese they use is also spot on
• The bun just about does the job as it tries its best to drink up the juices
• The burger is just unpretentious
• I can't say I've fallen in love with the chips but the onion fries are great
• They have beer on tap which is a nice touch
• In a city where burgers are now king that means something
• I turned to my friend with a real look of surprise in my eyes and a mouthful of mince and said
• Compact and a little marbled and heavy with just an indescribably rich flavour that enveloped my palate
• The ambience was pretty good too
• A shed made from reclaimed bits of paint peeling corrugated sheeting with an incredible set of tin doors that look like they came off an old Anderson shelter
• Even though I knew it was practically built yesterday
• Dirty Burger is really something special
• One of the best burgers out there so far
• I casually mentioned that we were going for burger lunch
• Dirty Burger (Kentish Town) and it is just round the corner&rdquo
• I thought it was going to be cold but to my delight was rather the opposite &ndash
• The dining space is centered by a large table which probably fits sixteen diners and along one side facing outwards
• It would be probably too much but it is difficult to just have one or the other without not having the other
• The burgers were served up quite quickly
• Keep your ears open when the orders are called out
• Over the counter was very friendly
• Portion size for burger and fries at Dirty Burger was slightly small
• Compactly packed little burger with lashings of lettuce
• It was quite messy eating with the melting cheese
• Fortunately there was a small washing up space to clean up after this
• The location is not only quite a way from anything
• What's worse is that the only window looks out onto the car park and a gym on the far side that fills you with guilt as you tuck into the greasy food
• The staff seemed to all be doing every task which was evidently leading to the inefficient service
• The fast food was subsequently very slow
• Whilst the onion rings are pretty good they will probably give you heart disease with the amount of salt on them
• Nothing special and the fries were very average
• Like me you were in The Vine over the road and only there because you were going to a gig in The Forum
• If you after a burger and some fries this is clearly your place to go
• Nothing spectacular which is what I expected
• Given that there are only a few options on the menu and that it was in a bizarre kind of shack
• No one ever claimed the burger was healthy guys
• Dirty Burger is definitely on the intimate side
• A gorgeous beef patty with slow cooked pulled pork (are you dying yet
• Hands down one of the best burgers I have ever eaten
• The oozing cheese attempted to hold everything together but Michelle and I ended up with most of it down our face
• The simple crinkle cut fries were equally as delicious as were the onion fries which are actually onion rings but not fully round
• The onion fries too were not greasy and the batter was really light
• The are of Kentish Town is quite upcoming
• So this prices are reflective of the area
• The burger definitely has a dirty factor with a wonderful juicy explosion
• It is very different to my favourite burger joint Honest Burger but it was very good in a different way
• Decent price with quality burgers
• The burger itself is a thing of filthy beauty
• If you can imagine an upgrade on a Big Mac then this is what you have
• I mean that in the best way possible
• If ever there was an accolade for a burger joint
• I had the special a burger with a beef patty
• The term don't judge a book by its cover is NOT applicable here
• Dirty Burger is the best Burger in London at the moment
• That keep popping up with hefty price tags
• Not over run by Stag Parties (Meat Mission) and there are no reservations or queues (Meat Liquor)
• Juicy and tender but not the best I've ever had and slightly overpriced
• I'm not one for vegetarian options but I tried the dirty cop out for curiosity sake and was not disappointed
• The main ingredient is portobello mushroom and so even the vegetarian option seems meaty
• They have a special every month which is always inventive
• Extremely cool little spot with great food for moderate prices
• This genius burger bar is from the same people who brought you Chicken Shop
• The burger is messy enough without taking a bite and having the entire piece of bacon come out
• 8 for a beefburger there are plenty of upmarket burger joints in NW5
