Sadaf (Bayswater)

• Sadaf has a clay oven in the front of the restaurant and the bread is made fresh in front of your eyes and it is INCREDIBLE
• The salad oliveh is good as is the kebab barg
• What let's it down is the tacky decor
• A simple restaurant with simple decor
• I still wouldn't say that the ambience was amazing I would rather say it was basic
• The only tough part is actually getting a table
• Mains my favourite is the zereshk pollo berry pulao and chicken cooked in a tomato gravy
• Their kebabs and fish are a good bet too
• Finish with a black tea with mint to help digest all the food that you have eaten
• Two mighty kababs over a bed of buttery saffron rice served with one grilled tomatoe
• The bread is sensational and though I was never a fan of Iranian starters
• The lamb chops are one of the best I have ever had
• Recalling the ones I had in Iran a few years back but was it no where close to what I expected
• I recommend you split a main with someone because their portions are oh so big
• You can also go for their soup of the days which is a low kcal choice with one of their salads
• Try their range of starter dips with a salad and some BBQ to share
• Their chilli sauce is HOT HOT you have been warned
• Never see chilly on Iranian menu usually Sadaf (Bayswater) is a first for me
• Their portion size are on the large size
• Also appetiser was a green spicy paste which wasn't served with bread
• There was no way to eat it unless I was as desperate as to lick it with my fingers
• They are a must visit location when you are in Bayswater
• The staff are very friendly but most importantly their bread is extremely fresh
• The appetizers are to die for an the main course is more then generous
• This is my first time eating Persian food and it was absolutely delicious
• The tenderness of the meat is unbelievable
• Friendly staff and speedy service are plus points
