Rainforest Cafe (Chinatown)

• ) but there is also an offe of sandwiches and hamburgers
• I visited here with my family for my sister's 19th birthday
• We went after I finished work and so were seated at about 8pm
• I was surprised at the amount of children and toddlers that were still running around at that time of night but I probably just noticed it more because I was tired from work
• We were told that they had run out of hummus but that we could substitute it with guacamole or sour cream or we could have extra olives and mozzarella
• All of the food was nice and the steak was made rare just as asked
• I did feel it was fairly overpriced for what you got with starters mostly at £
• The menu is also quite worldly and exotic but with regular choices as well
• This meant my sister ended up having to stand up in the middle of the restaurant whilst everyone sang happy birthday and she was presented with a dessert dish of whipped cream with a candle in it
• The restaurant itself is set out to be like a rainforest covered in decorative vines
• The place is an absolute hit with children and it's fun
• Overall it was a nice meal
• The restaurant is cute with it's wildlife theme
• Garishly designed with windows overflowing with bug eyed toys your children will want
• Upon arrival we were asked if any of us were celebrating a birthday
• Approximately every five minutes a pyrotechnic pudding passed and everyone was drawn into a song
• Attempting a conversation in The Rainforest Cafe is sort of like filming a documentary on the dark you simply won't get results
• When the restaurant isn't filled with birthday sing song it's overwhelmed by the unconvincing noises of the animatronic beasts around us
• This is a restaurant made for families with young children though if you have them
• I remember what it was to be a child I still am one if you give me a Disney film and a box of Cadbury's animal biscuits
• This restaurant is richly decorated with plants complete with sounds and animatronic animals straight from the rain forest
• The decoration is amazing and even though the prices are a little high the experience is well worth it
• The chocolate lava cake is to die for and so are the burgers
• I love animals so the rainforest theme is right up my street every so often you'd hear an animal call out or see an elephant raise its trunk
• On the plus side it was good to see some healthy options on the kids menu
• The decor here is the main attraction so lots of families choose to go here for special occasions
• The high food prices are down to the costs for the tropical experience package which children will undoubtedly love
• This really is more of a place to go to for special occasions

• Before going downstairs to the main Rainforest Cafe you are greeted by a over enthusiastic staff member who notes down your name and number of people for a table
• The wait wasn't too long so we were quickly taken downstairs
• We were blown away by how well the rainforest theme was presented but also noticed the amount of children and parents
• At first I thought it is a kids store but then realised that they have a restaurant
• Rainforest Cafe (Chinatown) is a good venture for kids when accompanied by parents
• They have a store with numerous soft toys of different animals
• The forest theme is well formed and supported by appropriately dressed staff
• Obviously it was his treat so I did not worry about the bill ( which was bit expensive)

• I have been visiting the rain forest shop for its cute stuffed animals for children but when I visited the club underground I was disappointed

• Came here on a rainy day with a coupla kids in tow
• Staff friendly too but the main reason I came here was for the novelty value in the surroundings for the kids
