I went to promenade for the traditional high tea and i must say that it was absolutely fabulous
-
Be it the food the service the ambiance everything was spot on the cutlery crockery all spectacular
-
The scones were nice and warm
-
I had the chamomile tea which was also very good (i dont know much about teas so yeaa&hellip
-
) the finger sandwiches were okay i would not say that they were fabulous they were passable
-
The location of the hotel is also fabulous
-
I went at the dochester for afternoon tea with my other half
-
Everything was faultless and perfect
-
The selections classic tea was fantastic and sandwiches were really nice
-
We werent rushed either even though the place was super packed
-
A mint mouse cup and then cakes which were all endless
-
The service was exceptional and they made my mum a mini birthday cake which was a lovely touch
-
The promenade is a beautiful long restaurant with stunning interior
-
The restaurant was quite busy on Saturday afternoon
-
T noticed because of the good distance between the tables and the pianist who was playing live music in the background
-
The tea collection was extensive &ndash
-
* Cucumber with cream cheese on caraway seed bread
-
The only two which I really liked were the chicken and the ham
-
The rest in my opinion were quite bland
-
You get one plain and one with raisin scone each
-
I would have loved some cream with the scones but it came with butter and 2 jams
-
The scones were directly followed by a selection of beautifully presented French pastries &ndash
-
This selection was rather disappointing as I found the pastries quite flavourless and none of them stood out for me
-
I think the personal touch that the staff adds in greeting you and acknowledging your loyalty towards them is what makes you revisit The Promenade (Mayfair)
-
I recommend you to taste those and these are the recommendations of somebody who has been frequenting The Promenade (Mayfair) since 7 years
-
The appetizers were tasteless and the mains were also just edible
-
The ingredients were also of poor quality and tasted stale
-
The place was relatively empty when we visited and perhaps that's why the service was uncomfortably prompt
-
The food was average with a few hits and misses
-
The food that The Promenade (Mayfair) has to offer is brilliantly prepared and is fresh as well as tasty
-
The portions were pretty huge and the service was really quick as well
-
The Promenade (Mayfair) is on the top in my list whenever I feel like having Vietnamese cuisine
-
My experience here was so bad that I would not recommend anyone to visit The Promenade (Mayfair)
-
How could the Chef not even know what is the correct balance of spices and flavours that should be added to Thai food
-
Even though I gave the restaurant manager a piece of my mind he was discourteous enough to accept the money that I paid for the bill
-
The highlight of our whole experience was the incredible service
-
The atmosphere is enticing and had delicious cocktails
-
Pricing is high but definitely worth the experience and it is normal for this area
-
The Promenade (Mayfair) is very airy and the atmosphere is very refreshing
-
If you are really stressed and you need a timeout from your routine then this is the perfect place for you to be

There was a wide range of options on the drinks menu to choose from and the ones we tried were pretty delicious

The ambience was amazing with beautiful decor and pretty comfortable seating
-
The service was pretty efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly
-
The staff here is very warm and inviting along with being efficient
-
The drinks selection here is quite varied and comprehensive but they are ridiculously overpriced
-
The drinks are quite good but do not deserve the price they command
-
It is an impressive bar but only visit if you are ready to burn a hole in your pocket
-
I visited The Promenade (Mayfair) with a couple of friends some days ago and had a truly amazing time

This cute little place is the perfect setting for a toothsome high tea experience
-
I visited The Promenade (Mayfair) on Sunday and it was fairly crowded
-
Maybe because it was the weekend
-

-
I am not exaggerating when i say that the restaurant is world famous and not wrongly so
-
The prices are steep but then the experience is unforgettable
-
The service was prompt and the servers were quite attentive
-
The overall experience was amazing and would like to visit The Promenade (Mayfair) again
-
The food along with the desserts was delectable
-
The tea wasn't very good but the cakes were outstanding
-
The service was really good
-
The service was average and the staff was not at all attentive
-
The food served was just the usual
-
The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing
-
The highlight of our meal was appreciation worthy service
-
I would start by saying that the restaurant's service is exceptionally great
-
My mother was in a wheelchair due to a broken ankle and was helped throughout the time we were there
-
Our plates and tea was stacked and filled without them needing a reminder
-
To the great food with exceptionally prompt service and a fun atmosphere
-
The dishes that we ordered were appealing and appetizing and quite filing in an afternoon meal
-
I went to The Promenade (Mayfair) with my mother and aunt for an evening meal and we felt glad that we chose The Promenade (Mayfair)
-
We got a glass of champagne which was very nice and refreshing

The Promenade is a beautiful place to come for the traditional English high tea
-
The room is really nicely decorated with huge vases of colorful wonderfully smelling flowers and elegant plush seats and sofas
-
I came here with a group of friends and we were served really well
-
They had a good variety and the sandwiches were simple and really tasty
-
Finally we were served small pastries of different kinds along with delicious scones with jams and butter
-
The whole meal was extremely elegant and the food was delicious
-
We sat here for hours and were continued to be served more tea and scones
-
High tea at the Promenade is a unique experience
-
The Dorchester Hotel is one of London's most iconic hotels which is set on the prestigious Park Lane
-
The award winning afternoon tea begins with chilled Laurent Perrier NV Champagne and an abundance of sandwiches
-
The Dorchester Hotel is definitely one of my top five places to have tea in London
-
Afternoon tea at the Dorchester is an incredibly unique and wonderful experience
-
The service was absolutely spot on
-
The scones are always my favourite part of afternoon tea and these
-
49 per person for the afternoon tea menu is extremely good value
-
We went here for afternoon tea after reading recommendations that their afternoon tea is the best in London
-
You also get unlimited scones with clotted cream and raspberry or rhubarb jam (all made in house)
-
The bread was quite dry and the seafood spread was very fishy as if it had gone bad
-
The clotted cream had unfortunately sat too long in the fridge and was hard like butter
-
A shot of sea salt caramel and chocolate mousse was very tasty but the cakes were not nice
-
We were also given baby ice creams that were nothing above average
-
Fluffy sandwich squares and fresh scones with clotted cream and so decided to go to a timeless classic
-
Definitley provided me with a few laughs
-
The menu had a a few options to choose from for high tea and much to my surprise there was a very untraditional accompaniment option
-
Arabic mezze with chicken taouk
-
Cake and mini ice cream cones with a glass of champagne or non alcoholic cocktail at the same price of £
-
Our selection of sandwiches comprised of cucumber and cream cheese (extremely bland but something I was extremely looking forward to) smoked salmon and butter (bad quality salmon)
-
The service was slow and we asked to be given the scones and desert at the same time whilst waiting for the tea we had ordered upon sitting down
-
The scones were home made and delicious
-
The clotted cream was completely solid and more like a butter
-
The rest of the mini cakes and pastries were just fillers to me with the exception of three tiny shots of sea salt
-
How thoughtful of them (though they were the best thing we had)
-
Some more lemon cake and velvet cake was passed around along with some mini Ice creams and we made a haste move for the exit
-
Some people may enjoy the setting as the seating is comfortable but I don't recommend ever going for the sake of their afternoon tea
-
Perhaps their other menus are their saviour
-
S favorite spot for traditional afternoon tea in London is the iconic Dorchester Hotel
-
So naturally this was my first choice when trying it out for the first time last week
-
Is where you are seated if you choose the vintage afternoon tea
-
To me that area looked slightly dull so I was very pleased when the receptionist pointed the way to the promenade &ndash
-
A beautiful long restaurant with stunning interior
-
The promenade was so beautiful and you feel like a princess once you enter
-
The only afternoon tea available (there are usually numerous options) was the champagne one at £
-
A glamorous corridor which is the perfect place for people watching &ndash
-
The service is as you would expect from a classy hotel with heritage
-
The selections of tea were amazing although having to pay extra for premium teas seemed a bit much after spending the amount of money that The Promenade (Mayfair) charges
-
We didn't want to ask for a doggy bag for the leftovers but it was offered to us
-
Overall a beautiful and traditional setting with pampered service to match
-
Their tea time is absolutely the classiest place you can have it
-
The scones are to die for along with everything else they serve
