The Place - Melia White House (Regent's Park)

• There are 2 restaurants here this is the less formal one at the front of the hotel
• D would welcome me by name which was a lovely touch
• You can take a leisurely approach or if you are in more of a hurry you can be in and out very quickly
• Sometimes they have buffet nights on and there is always an excellent selection including a chef section for show cooking one of the dishes
• The scrambled eggs in particular are wonderful and the whole Spanish style selection of meat and cheese is enough to make you want to spend all morning there
• The only disappointment is that I'm not likely to be going back now that this hotel isn't available to me through work
