  • We then ordered a Mezze platter to share it was wonderful hummus

  • Warm artichoke heart salad with kashkaval cheese

  • A little board of milk bread (could eat a loaf of that) with delicious chicken liver to start

  • My main dish was chicken cooked with raisins covered in kadaif pastry roasted/toasted vermicelli a delicious combination of flavours and textures

  • Finished off with the cheesecake

  • Unfortunately our cardamom coffee was delayed slightly spotty service (they brought our bill along with dessert

  • The place itself is warm and charming

  • Food so incredible that even a nasty bee sting is almost forgotten

  • Honey and Co is all about fresh

  • Our meal started with a delightful mezze course &ndash

  • The most delicious Yemeni style falafels served with warm pitta bread

  • Everything sounded delicious but I chose the Poached Mediterranean Prawns with Herb Tabule and Creamy Feta

  • S food as well as the lovely desserts before they were all devoured

  • Entrees featured were Cauliflower Shawarma (Spice Roasted Cauliflower

  • My favourite was the warm Pistachio cake topped with roasted plum

  • T resist a pot of fresh mint tea and it was needed after the fantastic meal

  • The restaurant seats 20 people max and is popular so definitely a good idea to book in advance

  • It is impossible to leave this cafe with just a coffee &ndash

  • The pastries piled up in the window are far too delectable to turn down

  • On Wednesday one of my colleagues and I were keen to get out of the office for a proper natter so I suggested we went there for lunch

  • All the tables were fully booked (it is tiny

  • Given its nondescript location that is still pretty impressive) but we found a seat at the bar looking out on Warren Street

  • A shelf stacked with glass jars filled with homemade jams and chutneys to take away

  • In addition to Itamar and Sarit there were three lovely girls who were charming

  • I have previously had drinks with orange blossom that taste suspiciously like bath suds (a cocktail at Barrio Central springs to mind) but this was sweet

  • The tagine came served under a hat of thin crisp pastry threads (not entirely sure what they are actually called) and was very very good &ndash

  • Tender pulled chicken in a sauce that was just the right combination of sweet and spicy

  • It was sprinkled with pistachios and fresh blueberries

  • Camden Hells Lager were tempting but we made the right choice

  • The Fasenjan won it for me beautifully cooked duck with subtle flavours but only just

  • The delicious stuffed celeriac was a new experience

  • Warm marzipan cake with roasted pink rhubarb and sour cream was a big hit marzipan haters need not fear it

  • The attractive creation you can see below is my wonderful Cold cheese cake with Kadaif pastry

  • Fir honey just what was needed after all the slow cooked meats

  • Keep an eye out for their first book which is coming out in June and can be pre ordered on Amazon

  • Their jams are so yummy and easy to spread

  • A lazy morning followed by a 12 o'clock breakfast come lunch is a perfect way to start the weekend

  • Sat in the window of their tiny little restaurant I had the poached legbar eggs on spinach with an amazing garlic yoghurt

  • On the side was bread soldiers to dip your yokes

  • Obviously no brunch is complete without orange juice which I may add is heavily and a great Cappachino served in a lovely glass

  • My friend and I were quickly given seats

  • First up came the fresh hake cakes cooked in pilpel chuma seved with fine cracked wheat essentially fish cakes in a hot sauce made out of peppers and garlic

  • The fish was tender and mildly tasting which was compensated by the slightly spicy

  • Garlicky sauce it was like an explosion of flavours in your mouth

  • The next dish we ordered was The Royal Mansaf slow cooked lamb on saffron rice

  • Provided an interesting contrast to the first dish we ordered with its sweetness and creaminess

  • We saw many tables order the Jerusalem style falafel with cinnamon and sesame

  • So it was a good thing that the tahini sauce was there to balance it out

  • The salad was a nice touch and made the dish look very visually appealing (plus I can never say no to anything with pomegranate in it

  • By the time we had finished our meal we were too full for desserts so I will definitely try to make another trip to Honey &

  • It is amazing and I'd highly recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth

  • Among them Oxo Tower and Ottolenghi (where Itamar was head chef and Sarit was head pastry chef)

  • The restaurant has been showered with praise (including winning Observer Food Monthly's best newcomer of 2013 award)

  • This is a must visit for anyone with a weakness for Middle Eastern food

  • This little hole in the wall has reeled you in with its homely charm

  • Decorations are kept to a minimum

  • Bits of blue and white are flecked around the place

  • Deciding what to order was the toughest battle of the night (closely followed by the scuffle over the last falafel)

  • Aubergine and tomato salad with tahini) or sticking to our Middle Eastern go tos of falafels and hummus (yes

  • These two things also came with the tasting plate

  • We ended up going with the individual falafel and hummus plates

  • Because both were moreish as hell

  • The green falafels were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside

  • They were a top notch version of what is for my money one of the best dishes in the world

  • Generously dolloped onto a plate with a side of pitta and brioche pieces

  • Thankfully the decision making here was far less laboured because there was something slow cooked on the menu

  • My slow cooked lamb shoulder came immersed in a plum and rose liquid with a side of bulgar pilaf

  • The pilaf was infused with a punchy tomato flavour

  • A couple of my friends opted for a roast beef sirloin served with 'burnt potatoes'

  • They were surprised to find that the dish was served cold it was really a salad of sorts

  • Who it's safe to say is headstrong

  • They admitted that the dish was full of flavour

  • The dinner was for a friend's going away so we were not about to bow out come dessert time

  • The lemon drizzle was a particular highlight

  • Generously topped with cream cheese icing (a mandatory component for any cake to reach truly lofty heights)

  • The others were both great cakes as well

  • In keeping with everything else about the place

  • You won't be slapped with a bankrupting bill at the end of it all

  • Affordable food bursting with flavour and served in friendly surrounds

  • Not only is there an imaginative cross of middle eastern flavour with twists of sweetness coming from unexpected plums and roses

  • The home made teas and infusions are stunning (rose and cinnamon

  • Lemon and fennel) as is the coffee and cardamom

  • We asked for Fasenjan which is a slow cooked duck in walnut &

  • Mafroom which is celeriac stuffed with lamb &

  • Slow cooked in a lemon saffron sauce) and Patlijan which is slow cooked lamb and aubergine stew wrapped &

  • I have never liked Middle East food much but this restaurant was a surprise and a pleasant one at that

  • I recently visited this restaurant during lunchtime and the lunch served by them was pretty average

  • The seating area was quite limited

  • I also found it difficult to understand why some of the plates and glasses which were in fact empty were left on my table for a long time

  • The place serves middle eastern food and is a cafe cum restaurant kind of a place

  • The coffee they serve here is absolutely delicious and the latte is a must try

  • Our lunch at Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) was not worth the hype

  • I struggled to comprehend why empty plates and glasses were left on our table for so long

  • Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) is inconsistent

  • Other times is disappointing only

  • Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) offers Israeli food with a dash of homeliness to charm its clients

  • This itself is what makes Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) so much more interesting than any other

  • One evening it was so busy with people that I almost had to gulp down my food

  • Each dish i tried my hands on was so full of flavors and some or the other innovation was there in about every dish

  • We did not book in advance but luckily we were seated after a short wait

  • The simple yet delicious food is cooked well and is reasonably priced

  • The mixed mezze platter for started was scrumptious

  • The lamb and beef kofte are a must try

  • The restaurant is usually buzzing with people

  • I am their regular customer and the main reason behind that is not that I work nearby

  • They provide you with some good Arabic Israeli food and it is authentic too

  • The menu was extremely limited and as a vegetarian i was offered only two choice out of which i thought the cheesecake would be my dessert

  • The cauliflower was cold and bland

  • I'd say give this one a skip if you are searching for great flavors

  • I would be hard pressed to find anything wrong with the lunch I had at this restaurant

  • It was truly a wholesome experience the setting was warm and friendly

  • I must say that I have had some experience with it and thoroughly enjoyed the food here

  • The highlight of Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) is tempting and alluring FRESH food and quirky

  • Ordered home made drinks which were simply marvelous if you definitely don't have a sweet tooth

  • Been here often with friends and alone as well

  • The best dishes were the roasted aubergine

  • We had the cheesecake which was made with smooth feta cheese

  • A crispy base and was garnished peaches and almonds

  • The entire spread was delightful

  • The flavours are still etched in my memory

  • My personal favorite here is the tomato soup and the tiny honey and raspberry cake

  • My complaint however is with one particular item that is the falafel which was bland

  • Asked for Scrambled Eggs which were served with Tomato Salad and coffee

  • Eggs were cooked just right and salad was refreshing

  • Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) is good in all aspects and it makes it so much more a reason to come back here time and again

  • The food is excellent as is the service here

  • I had lemony prawn tangible with potatoes and peas and I loved my meal

  • A place which gives you a feeling of good life with its delicious cuisine

  • The food is so well prepared and served with perfection

  • The thought process behind the dish is executed very well

  • This cozy place is small in area and thus expect delay or pack

  • Too few of my friends here who are really hard to impress

  • We had ordered the dinner set along with one main course each

  • The restaurant is not cheap but not expensive either

  • The portions are also adequate for one person

  • Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) is very small and quaint

  • All of which tastes delicious and is priced very reasonably

  • Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) is intimate for a restaurant and one needs to pre book in order to avoid the waiting

  • Service here is friendly and the food is outstanding

  • I was served with the best meat balls I have ever had in a long time

  • Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) gives you with the best view around

  • The portions are also very huge

  • I had tender grilled ox and it was so awesome that very next day I came with my partner and made him try that

  • The interior decoration of the restaurant is not the most appealing

  • The space for seating is also very crowded

  • This makes me want to warn that this might not be the best place for large gatherings

  • The restaurant is great and is usually packed with people even on weekdays

  • Every dish was made to perfection and we could not help but scrape the bowls clean

  • I will surely recommend Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) and that it is difficult to find any place like this in town

  • All the dishes I ordered were sumptuous and worth every penny

  • The highlight of the meal was the brisket dumpling

  • It was pure delight with delicate and innovative flavours

  • The staff was also pleasant to deal with and provided prompt

  • The decor was a perfect example of simplicity and the focus was on the food and the service

  • This is one of the best restaurants in the city with an excellent staff an even better food

  • I have tried almost everything there is and I am yet to be disappointed

  • The staff recommends the best things on the menu

  • Because getting a spontaneous table is almost impossible

  • The main course which was pulled lamb was delicious and in my opinion the best I have ever sampled

  • I was quite thrilled with the quality of the food

  • I definitely had the best lamb shawarma and would recommend everyone who is planning to go there and who is even thinking of going there

  • Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) is an innovative mix of sweetness and surprise

  • I wouldn't be going back for more however would definitely recommend for someone who is looking for the view of an exotic lake with run of the mill

  • The seating arrangement is a bit tight

  • The meze and lamb mains were flavorsome and the baked tomatoes were beautiful

  • I wish the wine was a little better

  • We thought of trying Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) for breakfast and were pretty impressed with the simple

  • Delicious and awesome food which is a much better option than the traditional pubs or cafes that have fried food on display

  • The ambience is awesome as well with warm and welcoming staff which makes the overall experience all the more happening

  • The table had no room left and was covered with loads of colourful plates

  • Their own special cereal with yogurt plus the freshest of figs and some nicely glazed carrots

  • Relaxed and I get the feeling is very popular on the weekends for brunch (so make sure you book in advance) I would highly recommend Honey & Co. (Fitzrovia) for just that

  • It was a bit of a slow burner but by the time I finished their notorious cheesecake I was certain that I was bewitched

  • None of the dishes are what I would describe as basic

  • Some tabbouleh and labeneh with Turkish pepper puree

  • The pumpkin for certain was our favourite

  • Eating in such a manner is so good at tricking the stomach

  • The beef came with quince and potatoes

  • I would say we could have done with some extra bread to make use of all the remaining hummus but

  • Crunchy mouthful was better than the last

  • The apple and pear pie he ordered was like an insanely good McDonald&rsquo

  • Crisp pastry parcel with custard for dipping on the side

  • While being in love with my cheesecake I could still appreciate the understated splendour of this dessert

  • As your neighbour is quite likely to hear every word you say

  • In keeping with the stereotype though

  • We opted for the set dinner menu as it seemed to be good value and it featured most of the a la carte menu so there was no risk of ordering badly

  • Also included in the mezze were kalamata olives

  • We chose siniya (spiced lamb baked in a tahini crust with pinenuts and parsley) and fish mafroom (round courgette filled with fresh hake and herbs in a fragrant lemony broth

  • The fish mafroom was something quite spectacular in terms of originality and taste

  • It went fantastically well with the courgette

  • To finish off we shared a malabi (a milk based pudding perfumed with rose water

  • I didn't love having to dodge the petals (perhaps I was being a wimp and should have eaten them

  • I wandered past it on my way to a meet a very fine latte around the corner and was struck by the window display of lusciousness

  • Small Cousy place with mediterranean food love the frittata

  • The boureka selection is amazing but they only serve brunch on Saturday and you have to get reservation first

  • It was a litle cramped but this is a restaurant you come to for the food

  • The menu is not huge but is all abut quality and not quantity

  • You will find many Arab food staples and classics but all with a little twist of genius

  • I opted for the aubergine to start wit which came with some triangular crisp bites to start with and my husband ordered from the nibbles section and got some bread and olive oil

  • He felt that the olive oil was rather average and that the portion of bread for the size was a little un generous so felt that this was overpriced

  • It was a layer of lamb mince and delicious cauliflower topped with baked yogurt and served piping hot in the dish it was baked in

  • Great quality meat and the steaming hot nature of it worked really well with the juicy succulent cherry tomato salad served on the side

  • I tried a little portion of his too ad the lamb was exquisitely tender

  • The prices are not cheap for a place that's quite informall and simply decorated but it's all in the menu and quality of the dishe

  • ) sandwiched together with tahini ice cream and with sesame seeds on the side

  • The saltiness and nutty flavour of the tahini contrasted perfectly with the sweetness of the cookies and I could easily have lapped up a second one of these

  • They had some delicious teas and coffees on the menu including rose and cinamon tea but I was absolutely stuffed at this point

  • The portions are definitely generous so next time

  • I probaly wouldn't order 3 courses individually but it was certainly somewhere I would return

  • I think my husband felt that the prices were a little on the steep side

  • The service was friendly but lacked that personal sincere touch I found

  • Perhaps it was just because they were quite rushed in there but I think that's something they could fine tune a little bit further

  • I hear the breakfasts and dry non dessert cakes here too are wonderful so I would love to come back and have a chance to try those one day too

  • A few people around us were getting and looked beatifully crispy on the outside with a beautiful greeny coloured interior

  • I would also get the pistachio and saffron baklava with lemon cream next time beleive me

  • A great meal with some quite nove unique dishes on the menu

  • Honey and Co is a pure and simple middle eastern diner run by Itamar Srulovich and his honey (wife) Sarit Packer

  • The interior is tiny but functional with minimal decoration

  • Conveniently close to my office I popped down early one lunch time with a colleague to sample some Middle Eastern cuisine

  • Came here for brunch and the cafe/restaurant is very small seats about 25

  • O the lahma is similar to a pizza but without the oily cheese base

  • It was too much dough but it was wonderfully soft

  • The red pepper topping was sweet and was complemented by salty feta

  • Spinach frittata was not particularly exciting

  • Beautifully presented flat white not the best tasting I&rsquo

  • Ve tried since the coffee taste was not strong enough for my liking

  • The portion was rather small

  • My main issue was with the drinks

  • It was basically flat tonic water with a splash of gin and cordial

  • I would not have minded if I was paying £

  • The bellini was also very poor and served in a rubbish

  • Overall the food is good but slightly overpriced

  • The chief comes and chats to you and is very accommodating of allergies or general taste

  • I had falafel to start and a main that was cheese heaven

  • Somethings are worth every bit the effort required to attain

  • What started out as a local cafe with a delicious Middle Eastern menu in 2013 has exploded into a culinary juggernaut as people

  • Make the pilgrimage from all over London just for a taste or are recreating their dishes at home from one of their top selling cookbooks

  • I write this review on the back of my latest visit which was on a Saturday morning

  • The menu read like a breakfast wish list and making a decision was never going to be straight forward

  • Picking through this array of dishes was a pure delight as the combination of vibrant flavours with fresh ingredients made for an outstanding experience

  • I would've been content but the breakfast also came with your selection of eggs

  • The shakshuka with coriander zehug was positively awesome and consumed with milk bread was just insane

  • So yea Honey and Co is pretty awesome and you should go

  • He came out and chatted with us for a bit and we knew we&rsquo

  • Meal times in the Middle East are traditionally a time for socialisation and sharing

  • The service is unobtrusive and the interior is simple

  • Every bite of every dish we ordered was outstanding

  • The place was small but it was over taken by the amount of people inside

  • The design was simple and the main color was sky blue and white

  • The mix of ingredients used for each dish was not the norm

  • Surprisingly it was very delicious

  • We ordered the 3 course meal with the mezze starter and it did not disappoint

  • The falafel and bourekka are nothing to turn your nose up at

  • The mains were equally delectable with the pastilla and patlican packing a punch

  • The cheesecake was probably one of the best desserts I've ever had

  • We went in without a booking and we were luck to have exactly a table of 4 empty for us we sat happily and ordered he shakshuka ( Best ever I ate )

  • Everything was superb and the service accompanied it

  • Co for lunch with a few colleagues

  • My lamb moussaka main was nicely presented in a little oven dish

  • I liked the texture of the veg and the meet was good quality too

  • Pity though that it was poorly seasoned

  • D easily pass by unless you were looking for it

  • I was meeting a friend for a long overdue catch up and was trying to think of somewhere we could chat easily and that had plenty of vegetarian options

  • Amazing little place with delicious food

  • We had the chicken shish which was the best dish I&rsquo

  • The most delicious middle eastern food I have ever had we went for the set meal with dessert and were completely stuffed towards the end but the cheesecake was so tasty that it was hard to stop

  • I had the chicken as my main and it was juicy and absolutely delightful

  • The only thing keeping me from running back would be that the dishes are on the pricey side (the set cost £
