The Parlour Restaurant (Mayfair)

• The Parlour restaurant is one of my favorite places to go for tea and scones in London
• The whole place looks adorable and all the dishes are served in beautiful porcelain tea cups and plates
• The scones are served with delicious jam and their carrot cake is really tasty
• Best thing is that you dont find "
• The little known fact are the delightful restaurants
• One such place is the lovely little
• Stop by for high Tea and enjoy some Scones with Somerset clotted cream and Fortnums Strawberry preserve
• Accompanied with excellent flavoury Second Flush Darjeeling(
• The assortment of cakes etc are mouthwatering
• So we sampled and haggled with the best of them
• On the first floor was The Parlour Restaurant
• Two scones with cream and jam and a little teeny ice cream
• Accompanied with Coffee Macarons
• You can't go wrong with butterscotch sauce
• S one of those places that is a real delight to visit because it is the epitome of luxury &ndash
• The ice cream parlour decor was perfect for the setting
• I also liked that it was full of pastel colours
• Yet still bright with bold prints
• We had a nosey at what others around us were eating and it still didn&rsquo
• Choosing an ice cream flavour for our sundae was one of the most difficult decisions we had to make on our visit
• I have a slight obsession with anything Salted Caramel as my friends will know
• This was actually one of the best ones I&rsquo
• We thought it was such a great deal
• The peppermint tea was by far one of the nicest minty teas I have ever tried
• Gruyere Tart was rather nice
• Obviously everything tastes amazing with a spot of jam and clotted cream
• Ve had the pleasure of trying some of the best scones around London in my time (which isn&rsquo
• M sure this would be a different experience if I were to go for the proper Fortnum &
• I decided to stick with the minty theme as I was enjoying it so much
• S Mint Chocolate ice cream for my mini parlour sundae which was everything I dreamed of
• Especially with the little bits of honeycomb and the tasty waffle cone cup
• At first we were both hoping these would be as big and beautiful as the ones we&rsquo
• T realise how full I was going to be by the end of it
• It was the perfect ending to a delightful afternoon treat and we left with full stomachs and a big smile on our faces
• The ice cream was genuinely tasty and worth a visit for that alone
• We ordered their Pick of the Parlour tea set which includes the best scones I've ever had in my life
• Creamy butter and delectable sweet strawberry jam with actual strawberry fruits in it
• While the English say that there is nothing that a good cup of tea can&rsquo
• When I first booked a table online I was shocked there was only one slot available left on the day I wanted
• I noticed that the parlour gets really busy and there was rarely any free tables
• When I had my icecream I was instantly full and made a utter huge mess of myself because I'm a slow eater and icecream melt fast

• You think people be stuck up but is actually very friendly
• The Parlour Restaurant (Mayfair) is in Mayfair which is very close to piccadilly and green park
• S something about being British that goes hand in hand with loving tea
• The staff in the Parlour are not as friendly as the staff downstairs in the Department Store
• When it came to tasting the flavours which sounded so good they were unfortunately lacking that sweet
• Latte is okay but the baby ice cream that comes with it gives it an additional plus point
• Not the best but it was OK for an affordable session
• I had a scoop of banana and a scoop of the beetroot with ginger sorbet
• My only fault is that the scoops were small for the price
• The beetroot sorbet was especially cooling and pleasant on a hot sticky day
