Kula Cafe (Marylebone)

• When they were restocking their ice cream half way through the day so many ice creams were unavailable
• Since 2.30pm is an inconvenient time obviously so HALF their ice creams were unavailable
• 6.50 for a waffle and 2 scoops of ice cream is reasonable
• A tad verging on the pricey side since the size of the waffle is rather small
• Cream icecream was creamy and rich
• Especially given that it was not busy in the slightest for my friend and I were their only customers
• I won't bore you with the details of this
• I guess sometimes you have to bear in the mind that what you see is not what you get
• I don't know wether it was the fact that they don't know how to make good cakes or that they don't sell a lot but the cake we had just tasted stale
• 4.50 for a small slice of cake is a bit of a rip off I mean this is an ice cream shop not a full service restaurant
• When you fancy a warm waffle covered in nutella and strawberries or a dessert of that sort Kula is the place to go
• It's got very basic decor and is set in the cosy St
• Being a huge waffle fan I was truly spoilt for choice
• Waffle which is essentially a freshly made Belgium waffle (made in front of you) with chocolate Nutella spread a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a fresh banana
• The ambience of store is chilled out
• My last visit to kula was when a couple of me and my friends had gone for dinner in St Christophers place and were craving something sweet
• I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth
• The only reason I am giving Kula Cafe (Marylebone) 3.5 stars is for its waffles
• If you crave a Waffle with Nutella and Strawberries on a sunday afternoon go to Kula
• The waffles here are warm and soft just the way I like them to be
• The banana and nutella waffle is also quite tasty
• They have hot drinks as well and their hot chocolate is quite tasty
• The deserts are enormous and come with different sauces
• Topped off with some toffee sauce
• The waffles were not cooked properly and I saw the guy who was preparing them receive change from a customer and with the same hand he grabbed a Ferrero Rocher from a cake for sale
• The waffles were just perfectly warm and moist
• The few tables inside are all along the glass wall whole a few tables are also on the outside pavement
• Service is reasonably fast but variety is limited and atmosphere just so so
• Must avoid this lousy place with an arrogant owner
• I went to get dessert with a few of my friends and we stopped at Kula Cafe in Bond Street
• It tasted like real coconuts which was even better
• The pudding tasted yum and the portion was huge enough to be shared
• While the juice on the other hand was a complete let down
• The decor and the feel is pretty normal
