I've never been to a pub that can replicate the home cooked variety and here was no exception
-
The nut roast was made with stilton and cranberry which is a good variation as this ofsets the oil of the nuts
-
The great thing about it is that it is able to cater for large groups of people without making you feel cramped
-
The ambience was nice and relaxing and the staff were nice and polite but i found them slightly pretentious

The Orange Tree is a beautiful pub located in Barnet

The interior is more of the same with beautiful oak flooring and wooden beams hanging overhead

T what I would expected from this level of establishment and was a little on the quiet side
-
The service was second to none with attentive bar staff and waiters hovering attentively to take your order
-
I went for the roast dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how succulent the chicken was
-
The only minor issue with the meal was the potatoes which I found to be slightly overcooked
-
I found drinks prices to be rather expensive but perhaps this was to be expected due to the prestigious nature of the pub
-
I really enjoyed my evening at the Orange Tree and it is definitely a place I would revisit
-
The place is gorgeous with a beautiful decor
-
It's a country gastro pub with a modern restaurant
-
The selection of the food is rather poor and personally I think it's overpriced
-
A bit fatty but the roasted peppers with goat cheese made the dish very tasty
-
I would probably go back there only because the atmosphere was very cosy and I think the place has a lot of potential
-
Very nice pub indeed with lovely natural surroundings
-
I would say it is average and little too sweet
-
The pub however is nice with nice friendly staff and very pleasant surroundings
-
Traditional and modern at the same time with a nice large outdoor area so worth a visit during nice summer days
