• Most establishments in the area are full with ladies who lunch and Mel's Cafe Bar (Earlsfield) is no exception
• The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with a background hum of families having fun
• Fried egg and maple syrup and happily these were cooked perfectly
• The meat produce is of a high standard and unbelievably for me the combination works amazingly well
• This was my first time eating an American style breakfast with maple syrup but it won't be the last as the savoury meat and sweet sauce tasted delicious together

• Busy and mostly best driven through and forgotten
• It metamorphoses into a small town neighbourhood high street with nice looking independent shops
• Left and right are leafy residential streets with Victorian and Edwardian houses
• All day breakfast with a Chuck Berry smoothie
