Lupita (Strand)

• Albeit after a hefty wait as the place was really crowded
• I just wanted some guac and chips and stuff with lots of cheese on it
• The good thing was the guac was great its prepared fresh and has enough of a tinge without being too spicy or thick like some other places
• The quesadillas tinga was ok but nothing great
• The biggest disappointment were the chicken enchiladas which were too creamy and too cheesy that it masked the entire meals flavor
• The saving grace was definitely the Flan
• The place is definitely worth a try and is a nice cozy ambience for a get together
• Lupita (Strand) was recommended by a Mexican friend and did not let me down at all
• Only the Arracherra Taco's were disappointing
• Everything else was really good
• The guacamole made fresh on your table was a highlight
• The food generally was very good and the place had a relaxed vibe which suited the food
• The churros for dessert were also very good
• Their margaritas were simply amazing
• They serve it with freshly baked nachos
• Chicken or prawn alambre was cooked in brilliant spicy tangy sauce
• Pastor) and out of this we liked gobernador which is grilled prawns with melted cheese and Mexican special chipotle mayo and pico de galle
• We got what our waiter recommended were the best dishes and they were both tragic
• Wait staff were very friendly my only postive
• We got three meals and we were totally satisfied with all of them
• Also staff was really nice and the place is very decent with nice atmosphere
• Had nachos with guacamole made in front of our table really good
• A small but busy and delightful outlet in the ever so alive Strand near Charing Cross underground to gorge on some great Mexican cuisine with quite generous portions
• The highlight is them preparing Guacamole Artesanal right in front of your eyes by your table (should you order it) with all fragrances doing a great job of watering your mouth
• Coriander and onions being mixed with the mashed avocados
• Lupita offers some of the best Mexican fare I've had in london
• The menu is comprehensive but vegetarian options are fairly limited
• The pricing is decent and the service is quick and friendly
• I have a particular liking for seafood so the tuna tostada and the prawn tacos are a recommendation from me
• The staff was gregarious and I absolutely loved that given it was my first time at Lupita
• I had tacos and mexican rice and I was extremely impressed
• I'm rather glad I was able to add Lupita to my list
