London Sky Bar (Westminster)

• Our excitement was very short lived
• A glass of champagne was 5 tokens and a bottle
• The instructions were fairly unclear at this point and we had previously been under the impression that having bought VIP tickets
• Realised that there was nowhere to sit
• People that had paid good money to come to this event were forced to stand with plates
• The drinks staff were painfully slow
• The food itself was cold and not at all what we expected
• Having to stand up to eat it was insult to injury
• The selection of food was also very limited and there did not seem to be much of a vegetarian option available
• We decided to make our way to the 29th floor where we were supposed to see the fireworks but were quickly ushered back in as we were not allowed to move our drinks between floors
• It felt like we were being treated like cattle or small children
• The only positive thing was there was pleasant lighting
• The drinks staff were painfully slow but there was one female member of staff that turned the music up slightly after I asked (it was still too quiet to dance to)
• There was no ventilation on the floor so the windows were very quickly steaming up with condensation
• Busy dealing with another complaint"
• My partner stood at the bar for 20 minutes waiting for a glass until I was offered some at my seat by staff going around
• The windows were so steamed up that it was difficult to see anything
• That they offered was actually just bacon and sausage baguettes with nothing else in them
