What people say about Loch Fyne (Covent Garden)
-
Good food and always good promotional offers but the vibe is a bit dead inside
-
Want to rewind with a nice glass of wine and some fresh seafood go for a meal
-
Or at least you'd imagine so with the marked up prices and somewhat sleepy dead atmosphere
-
The coriander and sweet chilli had a nice tangy flavour but I was a bit disappointed at how small the three balls of crab cake were
-
My friend made an error with her order but the waitress was kind enough to not cause a fuss about changing it
-
Passion fruit and mango are both strong and sweet flavours that help to bring the creamy cheesecake and ice cream to life in your mouth
-
This was by far the best restaurant in terms of Seafood in London
-
I went there with my girlfriend and were lucky to get in as the only table free was about 9.00pm
-
The restaurant was absolutely busy when we get there
-
We ordered starters I had the lobster bisque which was delicious and my girlfriend the Scottish mussels which were good
-
Her dish was amazing great presentation and all the ingredients were beautifully cooked and fresh
-
As the place is always busy
-
What we really liked is how you can pick how you want your fish done
-
The whole lobster was also delicious
-
I got a bowl with lemon and garlic oil with maybe four tiny shrimps floating around
-
A main I got Aberdeen Angus Char grilled burger (without the buns) which I was also disappointed by
-
I asked for ketchup and it was never brought to me
-
Food is ok and there is no question on the quality of the seafood but I do think it fell through on execution on this occasion
-
The haggis and scallops were very disappointing
-
The whole baked lobster was overcooked
-
The spaghetti lobster was tasty enough but thought it could have used a more pieces of lobster
-
Only half of a small lobster is used even though a whole one is presented on top
-
Service is friendly but it is hard to get their attention
-
The ambience is lovely and seems to attract families
-
Excellent ceviche with grapefruit and popcorn from the starter menu and I definitely recommend the garlic butter samphire as a side
