The Ladybird Bar (Islington)

• I wet early evening and the cocktails were pretty good
• There were a couple of decent ones in there other than that there were all the usual characters
• The Ladybird is a really nice bar in Angel
• I would recommend good nah with a small group of people as the venue itself is quite small
• Downstairs they have a dance floor with a small bar but it does not fit too many people so I ended up needing to go out for air a lot
• The cocktail menu is designed as a storybook with all the cocktails named after fairytale characters
• I had the Mulan which is basically gin and pineapple and I really liked it
• The prices are around 8.50 per cocktail though so it may turn out to be an expensive night out
• Ladybird Happy Hour is well worth it
• Bartenders are clearly experienced and love their job
• I spent a great time with my friends and Saturday it was fully packed
• Everyone looked liked they were having a fabulous time
• It can get cramped on a busy evening however a good place to start off a night out with pre drinks and bites
