The King's Head Theatre Pub (Islington)

• I never had the food there but this is a buzzing place that is often full of music fans
• Almost every night there is live music and the bands are good
• The atmosphere is joyful and fun
• This is a good place to go to have some good music and a beer with some friends
• The Kings Head is one of my favourite pubs on Upper Street
• I particularly like it on a Sunday as it seems to be the only place in the area that is still buzzing by the evening
• Quite a rarity in Islington which is a haven for trendy gastro pubs
• It also houses a small theatre at the back which is acclaimed enough to put on lots of performances that are really worth seeing
• The atmosphere of the King's Head is so great that it spills out into the streets of an evening

• With tables stretching across the edges of the place with stalls at the bar
