Karahi Express (Hayes)

• We tried garlic naan with butter chicken and kadai chicken
• Butter chicken was too sweet and kadai chicken was good
• Chicken biriyani was more like fried rice but was tasty
• I was there when India were playing a cricket match and the atmosphere was electric
• The occasional curse (mostly when India dropped catches or conceded a boundary) but the service did not falter and was well organised and professional
• As with the Slough branch there is not enough space to sit so you would be well advised to book a table in advance
• One of two byob joints named Karahi Express and this is the better one
• Cheap quick food served with minimum fuss and you can buy your drinks next door
• Very popular for its oily food with a lot of the Punjabi crowd
