It is good value to start off with but then when you factor in it is bring your own it becomes even better
-
KaoSarn (Brixton) is best visited during the summer where you can sit outside on a light night and enjoy the environment without having to wear a coat and huddle round the candle
-
John's hill as there is a little more choice
-
KaoSarn (Brixton) is still awesome
-
Bringing your own bottle to a restaurant is like having a conversation with yourself &ndash
-
Appears weird but you can be guaranteed that the quality is good&rsquo
-
S favourite restaurant in London is Food for Thought in Covent Garden
-
Would have been fine if my friend (I asked him if there was a nickname he would like to be known as
-
When my friend finally arrived we were quickly rushed into ordering
-
5.90) along with a Plah Goong (£
-
Stir fried rice with pork and a fried egg
-
Half a grilled chicken with sticky rice and green papaya salad
-
The only real flavours were Thai basil and chili
-
The chicken was rubbed in a turmeric heavy marinade and was still moist after grilling
-
I was however so disappointed with the som tom that I almost cried and threw stuff
-
Fresh fruity papaya was incredibly refreshing
-
Apart from a couple of weak links the food was pretty good overall
-
We chose here as there was a table perfectly waiting for us outside
-
Lucky as inside was full to the brim
-
I ordered the Larb a minced chicken salad with ground rice
-
My friends also enjoyed their meals and as it was reasonably priced we all left very content
-
KaoSarn is one of many interesting dinners place with the market
-
I order the yum woosen which is much like the title suggests
-
The chilli complemented the dry roasted nuts really well and with the lime juice brought the whole meal together
-
Everyone seemed to really enjoy thier meal which was great to see
-
The atmosphere was lively and the staff was very welcoming
-
A delicate green curry spiced with fresh chillies and filled with pieces of chicken or beef
-
Most menu items are standalone
-
A perfection combination of traditional sticky rice served in a bamboo basket and a half grilled chicken with green papaya salad
-
On top of crispy iceberg lettuce with roasted peanuts
-
Accompanying the chicken and sticky rice was two dipping sauce
-
When Brixton Village first opened this was the place I would recommend everyone to go
-
I wouldnt eat here if it was the only place open
-
Reservations are not honoured
-
Last time I was there I was literally poked out of the way by the manager while asking how long my table would be
-
Everything that was lovely about it has gone
-
Dont waste your time with such rude people
-
Most of the time I order Tom Yum Goong soup which is absolutely delicious 3 last time when I had a flu my boyfriend went there and bought me 4 of them
-
Also pad thai noodles are my favourite one
-
After a while we were seated and my friend went to get drinks
-
The service was friendly but abrupt
-
The menu looked very appetizing as I like menus which are none fussy and condensed
-
Would recommend to people who would like authentic Thai they also allow your own alcahol which seemed to be a hit with the diners around me
-
Expectations are not high but the food does not disappoint
-
How's this for a restaurant with an attitude
-
No starters will be permitted without corresponding mains ordered with each starter
