  • Once through the front door you are taken into a friendly bar where people come to relax after a hard day&rsquo

  • Starters we begin with Sourdough and salted butter (£

  • He recently moved to the area and we had been told by many locals it was the place to go when in the area

  • On arrival ( we didn't reserve an area) we was greeted with warm smiles by all the waiters and staff

  • Who treated us like we were the only people in the restaurant

  • Despite having a full house we were given a great table and it wasn't just the staff who were smiling

  • It was like someone had injected them with happy juice

  • Goats cheese tempura with honey and hazel

  • He takes your coat and leads you to the bar to relax with one of their gorgeous cocktails

  • I had a Winter Berry Mojito which was delicious and the man had a Mai Tai whilst we enjoyed the view of the London skyline

  • We moved to our table for the evening and started off with a round of Nocellara del Belice olives (the best olives ever

  • Fact) and the house red wine which was really nice

  • Goats cheese tempura and honey with hazelnuts mouthfuls of amazingness

  • A very generous lamb rump with wild mushrooms with a side of purple sprouting broccoli &

  • Pan fried seabass with sauce vierge

  • Family owned and run which in an age of chains and big conglomerates is refreshing and special in itself

  • The food here is reflective of that with genuine care going into each dish of their largely modern European and American menu

  • My visit today was for a Sunday lunch on a pretty blustery autumns day

  • Chilli jam and lemon mayo) and the signature Joanna's hamburger (with smoked bacon and mature cheddar) were delectable and worthy of the hype they received

  • Perfectly cooked 28 day aged rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding

  • Starter I had the 'special' for the day which was lobster linguini

  • I followed this with the pan fried sea bass

  • Potatoes and green beans the sea bass was crispy on the outside with soft/flaky flesh cooked to perfection

  • The only downside was the overall dish could have had a bit more taste to it as it was quite basic with flavours

  • Dessert was the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream one word Amazing

  • We were also joined by Pascal who was visiting London for a couple of weeks

  • A small village vibe with independence dominating the street

  • The menu itself is not predominantly French cuisine

  • There is a small terrace outside which I would see more for smokers as the noise and pollution from high street traffic is not appealing

  • Our dining experience began with burrata and heritage tomato for Valentina with the freshest tasting tomato and creamiest texture for the cheese

  • Pascal opted for a large helping of steak with chunky chips

  • A fantastic dining experience in an area which is slowly creeping up my list of options for buying in

  • The people seem really friendly and if my buddy feels comfortable there with a new born

  • With window seats boasting the best views of the city

  • My first impressions are that it looks immaculately clean

  • Accompanied with easy listening music

  • I was asked as to wether I would like to be seated at my spacious table with the added bonus of the view

  • Is in fact the best I have sampled anywhere

  • The venues twist on this sweet temptation is the tantalising passion fruit foam

  • Another of the restaurant/bar's creations is the Smoked Apple and elderflower Martini

  • All of which were fresh and delicious

  • The batter was thin and crisp

  • Makes a refreshing change from other venues I have had similar from and the thick cut chips were fluffy and moorish

  • Plenty of choice with many old time favourites

  • Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream

  • The lemon cheese cake was my favourite

  • The flavours were so perfectly composed that it created a refreshing

  • The al a carte menu was unavailable and instead a Saturday brunch menu (12pm 3pm) took its place

  • This wasn't too problematic as there was still an array of gourmet goodies listed

  • Is right up there with my all time favourite

  • You will feel welcomed like you have stepped into an old friends home and attended to like you are in a 5* central london restaurant
