  • They've been able to maintain the same quality that they had in NYC and the ambiance here is really great

  • The service is great and all the waiters are really friendly

  • Are some of the best I've ever had

  • They are a little spicy and the pork is marinated in the most amazing sauce

  • I didn't know what it was and I still don't know but it is really delicious

  • The only issue with Ippudo is the wait

  • You can't make reservations and the place is always full so you have to wait for quite a while before being seated

  • They have a nice bar where you can have a drink while you wait for your table and their cocktails are pretty good

  • Before my stomach downed tools and went on strike until I treated it with due respect

  • S entirely possible I have in the past been harsh on those that have not compared with Bone Daddies

  • The ramen here is as understated and elegant as the decor

  • Having finished their noodles but with no small amount of broth left to spare

  • Proves as much of a treat as it is anywhere else

  • Dark mushroom are impossibly tasty

  • Perhaps ramen is a dish that I enjoy when made traditionally

  • Adore when experimented with successfully

  • That will not sit well with your new audience

  • Is to translate your restaurant abroad rather than just create a carbon copy of it and print the menu with a different currency

  • Fries etc) whilst cleverly tailoring the fringes of the menu with local producers (Kernel beer

  • Let's not forget arguably London's best steakhouse Goodman is a Russian's idea of a New York restaurant

  • New York and the dozens of other branches around the globe is perfectly in tune with the needs and sensibilities of the local population

  • Being pestered with questions ten times a minute is the very finest way to enjoy your faintly mediocre and overpriced dinner

  • There's even a chance that in Taipei it's normal to be asked how various dishes are before you've even had a chance to taste them

  • What's more upsetting is that I really was expecting to enjoy it

  • London has been on a bit of a roll recently with ramen joints

  • To the extent that I was beginning to suspect that ramen was pretty easy to get right all along and a lot of people were making a fuss over nothing

  • The ramen itself was one of the few things at Ippudo worth the money they were asking for it

  • The noodles had none of the taste or bounce of Kanada Ya but it was comforting in a straightforward kind of way

  • Chicken kara age were greasy and soft

  • Sesame prawn toast were a disaster

  • As to why they were accompanied by lime ("

  • Zuke maguro was a plate of dull Itsu level sashimi salad ("

  • Sesame cucumber was very enjoyable

  • Is everything OK with your gyoza

  • I don't get the impression this was first fortnight nerves (Ippudo has been open since 2nd October)

  • I can only assume this is how they mean to go on

  • That have made Ippudo so inexplicably popular with those short of attention and hard of hearing the world over

  • Japanese pankcakes was great to start with and then we had the classic ramen and the soup base was very yummy

  • Wish there were more pork slices

  • I ordered the ramen with ippudo signature condiment and an addition of seasoned boiler egg (as the ramen doesn't come with egg)

  • When word got out that Ippudo was opening in London

  • My number one downfall with Ippudo was how overcooked their noodles were

  • I'm hoping that as they were still relatively new when I went

  • If you have a ramen craving and the queue for Kanada Ya is hours long (which it often is)

  • I could definitely do with a bowl right now

  • This international ramen chain recently opened in London which was a big hoo ha for me

  • There's a tiny bar downstairs to keep punters rolling with some sake &

  • These big chunks of chicken were pretty juicy

  • 10) aka homemade thin noodles topped with pork loin chashu

  • D ordered extra pork belly and egg with hers and kept to the usual spice level

  • I must admit I was pretty disappointed by the quality of the pork belly

  • I ordered mine with extra "

  • The noodles were disappointing

  • It was only a weekday's night and it was hard to get a table for two

  • 1 hour wait for Smoking Goat and Kanada Ya was impossible to get in

  • Maybe too attentive with the service

  • It felt as though the staff was in your face all the time

  • The New York branch came up with the name "

  • Flat bun filled with thin slices of uninteresting pork and slimy lettuce

  • A bolder translation of the original pork broth topped with Ipuudo's secret Umami Dama paste

  • Not too sure if Ippudo is greedy or what but the ramen came with very little toppings and everything else cost extra for a tonkotsu

  • It left me wondering how did Ippudo become so successful with such humiliating food and over the face service

  • I will just stay in the queue for Kanada Ya and do not tempt to go for the no wait ramen joint with such average food and silly portions that is not worth the money

  • Outrageous price for such average food in tiny portions was just totally not worth it and a total rip off in both of my time and money

  • The pork bun was very good as well

  • My mum went for the classic ramen and did say she enjoyed it more after adding some fresh garlic and ginger (though squeezing the garlic through the press itself was a bit of a pain)

  • The tea was presented beautifully and the music was just a fun mix pop music that kept us bobbing our heads without being too loud to have a conversation

  • The modern bowl is definitely the way to go

  • Ippudo (Bloomsbury) is a chain but it still keeps a high level of taste and ingredients

  • Aka ( Red ) is the richer ramen where Shiro ( White ) is the classic taste introduced by Ippudo

  • If the queue to kaneda ya across the road is too long to wait in

  • The prices at the time was 3 pounds for the hirata buns

  • The portion size for the ramen was outstanding

  • The restaurant's location is prime and while entering through its main door

  • It starts giving you the feel that the food is going to be pretty good (although there was no food smell all around the place

  • Started off with a bottle of Sapporo and Kirkin two well known Japanese beers with Garlic Shrimps and Boiled Gyozo

  • It was the ramen noodles that were the main purpose to visit the restaurant

  • If two person are going empty stomach to enjoy the meal with starters

  • The only thing that got me a bit uncomfortable is the space between the tables

  • I could not possibly utter louder with the fear that the person next to me might be listening everything whatever I'm saying anyways

  • We waited for almost 30 min to get a table anyhow their food were not disappointing as we been to their first branch in Malaysia few years ago

  • 4.00) this is their classic

  • Otherwise you'd literally feel like you're eating air since the bun is so soft and fluffy

  • 11.00) Ippudo's original tonkotsu broth with a blob of their spicy miso paste

  • Their ramen doesn't come with other garnish like signature egg so we have to order get the special combination plate (£

  • The pudding is flavoured with roasted tea and topped with a layer of sweet kuromitsu sauce (black honey)

  • Ippudo has over 80 restaurants dotted all over Japan and is famous for it&rsquo

  • Their Hirata bun (kinda like the bun from Bao) are worth trying as starter

  • Their Houji Cha Pudding is soft and melt in mouth type of Japanese pudding you must try

  • I ordered the veggie ramen broth with extra chilli and sake

  • Hot sake went well with the cold weather outside

  • Ambience a mix of great RnB and popular pop music welcomes you with adequate seating spread across the floor

  • The restrooms are a bummer being located almost a floor and a half into the basement

  • Food the Karaage salad is a warming mix of cold salad leaves dressed with sweet sour vinegar and the hot chicken fried thrown in

  • Lights up the senses with the miso paste and a choice of the texture of the noodles from soft to hard

  • Price definitely expensive as there are much cheaper ramen serving places located within a 10 minute walk from here

  • I usually go with the vegetarian ramen

  • Flavourful broth that goes really well with the mushroom and the tofu

  • Also the stuffed buns are a good option

  • Draught Asahi is a must with food

  • The service is a tad bit slow

  • Singapore and though there are some variations in the offerings

  • Our waiter 'Eric' took the order which was large sake

  • 3 Karakamen ramen (2 with medium noodles and one with hard noodles) and 1 Shiromaru Hakata classic Ramen (medium noodles)

  • So I called our waiter Eric over and told him that I ordered two orders of pork buns which is six pieces as exactly I had explained to him however he just didn't seem to get it

  • The pork buns were quite anemic with the pork filling

  • It doesn't matter because they are all the same"

  • So what am I going to do about my mushy soft noodles that are sitting in the ramen bowl mixed up with everything else that is in the bowl

  • I told him that was unacceptable and I just want the Ramen noodles that I ordered

  • I have not been to other Ramen restaurants in London but I am absolutely certain that there are other Ramen restaurant which would for outshine Ippudo

  • The ambience is much better

  • I had never tried Ramen before and it was a good experience
