Chorizo lollipops with pear alioli sauce
-
Black rice with cuttlefish
-
Went there with some colleagues
-
Service throughout was attentive and informative (definitely necessary if its your fist time) but without being over bearing
-
The small plates and sharing is a fun way to enjoy many dishes
-
Went to iberica with some friends and I was impressed with the food
-
It serves traditional tapas with a twist for example the chorizo lollipop which was tasty and fun to eat
-
One of my favourite dish is the Padron pepper
-
Nice place to hang out and have chat with your friends although price wise it's a bit more upmarket
-
Predominately because the food was not as authentic as I was expecting or even hoping
-
The pork was absolutely inedible and the accompanying sauce was excessively flavoured with smoked paprika
-
The other diners were all happily eating away
-
Can become expensive with variety available
-
The waiters are very attentive
-
The plate descriptions were very elaborate
-
I think that is what was disappointing
-
They failed to inform us the plate of olives with our drinks was stuffed with anchovies which ruined my meal
-
We started with a Trio of Ibé
-
The quality is good though
-
This goes well with some tomato bread
-
We then continued with some Padró
-
Unusual for a Spanish restaurant and some fried calamari with alioli sauce (very good)
-
The octopus a la gallega was very nice and tender
-
It was served with potatoes and pimentó
-
Served with marinated cherry tomatoes and red peppers and the Gloria Cachopo a patty of minced beef and pork filled with Asturian cheese
-
The staff with the exception of the host were very unpleasant
-
The only smile we got was when we were handed the bill
-
That if you were asked to describe the alcoholic beverage of Spain
-
Perhaps even Gin in line with the trendy gin and tonic movement so popular in Spain at the moment
-
Fried squid with alioli was my favourite
-
Breaded and deep fried chorizo lollipops which came with pear alioli were great too
-
Asparagus toast was rich and cheesy and dressed with truffle oil and grilled green asparagus
-
The rest of our order was good but not outstanding
-
Pan con tomate was a good size portion that could have had more garlic rubbed into the bread for my taste
-
That is a dish that is pretty much impossible to mess up
-
These ones were cheesy and bechamel based rather than mashed potato based
-
Pleasant but a little too rich for me especially as we had the large portion with 12 croquettes
-
The Half and Half board of charcuterie and cheese was a generous filler and good value but nothing really special
-
I was happy with lunch and will gladly return
-
A big lunch was under £
-
Ve had a facelift though and there is now more seating and a vintage Spanish feel about the place
-
An invitation to taste their summer menu was quickly accepted &ndash
-
A chance to try a whole selection of dishes washed down with plenty of Spanish wine
-
The iberica pork was so tender I'd have it any day
-
Loved the ambience and the wait staff was outstanding
-
We were really pleased with the wine menu and cocktails were spot on
-
Pork belly special was amazing and cod balls were delish
-
Paella however was very underwhelming
-
Most impressive was the Crema Catalina Foam
-
Just ask the waiters if what you're ordering is enough or too much and they will humbly give their opinion
-
All the food is made with the best ingredients
-
The dark rice (made with squid ink) and the "
-
It is pricy but i guess they are meant to be high end restaurant
-
Portion of paella and tapas was disappointing
-
Me and my bf were so hungry that we went wasbi to get sushi
