A strange combo) is under a railway line
-
Scattergun approach to interior design is hairstylist
-
Only tried the lunch menu which is less extensive than the dinner menu
-
My beef on noodles was a bit tough
-
I believe the guy who runs it was Vidal Sassoon trained
-
It has a really chilled atmosphere with a chic Swedish style decor
-
I first came to Hurwundeki a few weeks ago with a group of six friends
-
The place was very busy as it was a Thursday night but they managed to seat us inside
-
We had to wait quite awhile to get our order taken however my friends assured me that it was worth the wait
-
T get too annoyed as the waiters were running round like crazy and kept checking up on us
-
In particular the Samgyeopsai (crispy pork belly) and the Hot Bolgogi (spicy BBQ chicken) were exceptional
-
I am also now obsessed Kimchi and recommend you order at least one side as it goes with everything
-
The food is fairly average however when considering the options that are just down the road near Old street and Shoreditch
-
Having said that I do enjoy a space that is being utilised to its full potential
-
The hair cuts are great value for money too
-
The atmosphere is quite nice and cozy
-
The pork I had was delicious and very crunchy on the outside
-
Some dishes my friends had were fulled up more with rice or noodles than the desired condiment
-
The hairdressing quarter looks like the set of Hostel with a bit of Antiques Roadshow thrown in for good measure
-
T already passed the point of trying to impress my other half (wearing tops with only two stains down them seems to do the trick these days)
-
The seafood pancake with chilli &
-
Vegetables (jeon) was comfort food at its best
-
Doughy on the inside with generous chunks of salmon
-
God knows what we thought they were going to turn up looking like
-
Pork belly with separate portions of garlic
-
My only grumble was that for a cheap cut of meat there could have been a bit more
-
S doenjang jjigae was equally pleasing on the eye
-
Hurwundeki is a sure fire winner
-
We marveled at how the chef placed small amounts of vegetables into each and every stew pot with the most meticulous amount of precision
-
I entered one hour prior to their closing time and was asked to take a seat somewhere in the corner
-
They told me that they can't provide any service to me as the place is going to be shut in a while
-
I have been here twice and both the times it was a pleasant experience
-
The service is pretty quick and efficient
-
Though the food seemed a bit oily the first time but on my second trip it was just perfect
-
Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green) is quite an amazing one offering delicious food at very cheap prices
-
Its an amazing feeling to finally find a place in East London where you can have amazing korean food followed by a whacko haircut and finally ending with a latte in just 30 pounds
-
Every single part of it is appealing and interesting
-
I have been a frequent visitor at Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green) ever since it was just a cafe
-
Found that everything is just perfect
-
The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful
-
With an overwhelmingly efficient staff that serves food which is delectable to the prices of the food being oh so cheap
-
Don't fret because it is not at all expensive
-
The location of this restaurant is very good and the dÃ
-
Cor is also pretty modern but it is the food that you go for which was quite average
-
The service though was terrible and despite pointing out several times that we have a reservation for six people
-
The restaurant has a small coffee bar in the garden with a designer clothes parlor in the back
-
The design is unique and i liked the idea
-
We were given tables after a long wait though it was a Saturday evening
-
I would recommend pre booking for Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green) if you are planning to visit
-
Alfresco garden area was mesmerizing and had a nice relaxed vibe overall where you can enjoy a laid back meal
-
The service too is prompt and friendly and the place is decorated tastefully with vintage furniture and chandeliers
-
The size of the plate was a persistent problem
-
The pancake came with only five pieces of seafood and a very small saucer of sauce
-
We were disappointed as the money we paid was not worth the food offered
-
The other half of the shop is owned by a hairdresser
-
The staff at Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green) is very friendly and the atmosphere is alive and busy
-
My only complaint is that we were all served at different times so some of us had finished before the others had even started
-
Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green) is excellent value for money
-
All of them came in big portions and my bill with service only came to be Â
-
Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green) was better than I expected after the bad reviews and i keep going back
-
The table can't be booked we were seated within five minutes of our arrival
-
They don't have liquor license but you will be allowed to drink so long as you are having dinner
-
The experience was one of a kind for me and i highly recommend it
-
The service was awesome because staff were very friendly and cordial
-
I think the exterior must be overlooked as the experience is more than what is on the outside
-
We has tofu and rice both of which were an absolute delight
-
The staff though was ignorant and lacked training in the area of customer service
-
The service is swift and the staff is efficient
-
The restaurant is a mix of a cafe and a salon
-
The ambiance is interesting and fun
-
It has a great atmosphere with an outdoor terrace
-
The place has two rooms with a kitchen and a hair salon each
-
The service here is quick and pretty efficient
-
My coffee and cake experience was overshadowed by the excessive crowd
-
I had a chai latte with similar results
-
The haircut which should have lasted fourteen minutes was wrapped up in four
-
The atmosphere was very pleasant in such a random place
-
Nice school chairs against wooden work benches with a hair salon on the way to the loo
-
The service was really bad
-
The place offers Korean cuisine and the other half of Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green) is a hair salon
-
The coffee is extremely overpriced and the portions of the food are quite small and do not seem to justify its price
-
The food was average with a few hits and misses
-
Cause that is the only medium of payment
-
I have been attracted to the restaurant from their very exteriors which is inspired by a very industrial appeal
-
Interiors are completely different with a very cute outlook
-
Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green) is not at all worth going
-
The workers are not at all professional
-
I was standing in a queue for coffee and I seriously don't object that thing if the counter is busy but here the workers were joking around with each others while the customers were working
-
This type of customer service is not at all acceptable
-
This restaurant is located in an area where there is not much to explore around
-
The food here is over priced and you may not feel reasonable paying for the quality of food you get
-
Visit it only if you are falling short of other options
-
I loved the kimchi tofu which was quite healthy and hygienic
-
The service is not rushed and the staff is friendly and hospitable
-
The place offers great coffee but is a bit overpriced
-
The lemon cake here is a must have
-
Hurwundeki is a firm staple of my lunchtime foodie outings
-
It serves delicious heart warming dishes which are 10% off if you choose the Takeaway option
-
My favourites are the Mandu (dumplings)
-
It will be a little quieter and the perfect place to catch up with a friend or have a meeting because the setting is lovely and quirky
-
50pm (they start serving dinner at 6pm) and the place was fairly quiet
-
Unlike many Korean restaurants the size of the stew was fairly large and the had plenty of seafood inside
-
The pricing is also standard at around £
-
Mandu and hot bulgogi (beef) is what we ordered
-
Good but I was more smitten by the Jujupe
