Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green)

• Only tried the lunch menu which is less extensive than the dinner menu
• My beef on noodles was a bit tough
• I believe the guy who runs it was Vidal Sassoon trained
• It has a really chilled atmosphere with a chic Swedish style decor
• I first came to Hurwundeki a few weeks ago with a group of six friends
• The place was very busy as it was a Thursday night but they managed to seat us inside
• We had to wait quite awhile to get our order taken however my friends assured me that it was worth the wait
• T get too annoyed as the waiters were running round like crazy and kept checking up on us
• In particular the Samgyeopsai (crispy pork belly) and the Hot Bolgogi (spicy BBQ chicken) were exceptional
• I am also now obsessed Kimchi and recommend you order at least one side as it goes with everything
• The food is fairly average however when considering the options that are just down the road near Old street and Shoreditch
• Having said that I do enjoy a space that is being utilised to its full potential
• The hair cuts are great value for money too
• The atmosphere is quite nice and cozy
• The pork I had was delicious and very crunchy on the outside
• Some dishes my friends had were fulled up more with rice or noodles than the desired condiment
• The hairdressing quarter looks like the set of Hostel with a bit of Antiques Roadshow thrown in for good measure

• My only grumble was that for a cheap cut of meat there could have been a bit more

• Hurwundeki is a sure fire winner
• We marveled at how the chef placed small amounts of vegetables into each and every stew pot with the most meticulous amount of precision
• I entered one hour prior to their closing time and was asked to take a seat somewhere in the corner
• They told me that they can't provide any service to me as the place is going to be shut in a while
• I have been here twice and both the times it was a pleasant experience
• The service is pretty quick and efficient
• Though the food seemed a bit oily the first time but on my second trip it was just perfect
• Hurwundeki (Bethnal Green) is quite an amazing one offering delicious food at very cheap prices
• Its an amazing feeling to finally find a place in East London where you can have amazing korean food followed by a whacko haircut and finally ending with a latte in just 30 pounds

• Alfresco garden area was mesmerizing and had a nice relaxed vibe overall where you can enjoy a laid back meal

• The pancake came with only five pieces of seafood and a very small saucer of sauce
• We were disappointed as the money we paid was not worth the food offered

• The table can't be booked we were seated within five minutes of our arrival

• The coffee is extremely overpriced and the portions of the food are quite small and do not seem to justify its price

• I have been attracted to the restaurant from their very exteriors which is inspired by a very industrial appeal
• Interiors are completely different with a very cute outlook

• I was standing in a queue for coffee and I seriously don't object that thing if the counter is busy but here the workers were joking around with each others while the customers were working
• This type of customer service is not at all acceptable
• This restaurant is located in an area where there is not much to explore around
• The food here is over priced and you may not feel reasonable paying for the quality of food you get
• Visit it only if you are falling short of other options
• I loved the kimchi tofu which was quite healthy and hygienic
• The service is not rushed and the staff is friendly and hospitable
• The place offers great coffee but is a bit overpriced
• The lemon cake here is a must have
• Hurwundeki is a firm staple of my lunchtime foodie outings
• It serves delicious heart warming dishes which are 10% off if you choose the Takeaway option
• My favourites are the Mandu (dumplings)
• It will be a little quieter and the perfect place to catch up with a friend or have a meeting because the setting is lovely and quirky
• 50pm (they start serving dinner at 6pm) and the place was fairly quiet
• Unlike many Korean restaurants the size of the stew was fairly large and the had plenty of seafood inside
• The pricing is also standard at around £
