Haz (City of London)

• I have been to this Turkish restaurant couple of times with my team mates
• They offer complimentary bread with hummus which is quite good
• I was here for a Christmas meal with my team at work
• The crackers that we got were pretty tacky considering the style of the restaurant which was pretty upmarket
• I ordered a moussaka for my main course which was nice but the portion size was a little small and reminded me of the canteen version I had in high school
• Overall I think the place is overpriced for what it was
• The inside is dimly lit with candles placed on the tables
• Tavuk Iskander and Tavuk Tandir both were delicious with the former the clear winner
• The menu is very varied and has loads of vegetarian options which are as good as the non vegetarian ones
• Kuzu Shishi which is grilled lamb served on top of skewers
• The portions are HUGE and there are so many more dishes to try
• The focus of this chain is to provide a healthy option of Mediterranean food like grilled meats
• My suggestion is to avoid this outlet and go to other one
• This is one of those missing links of the chain that supplies sub par food and the consistency is terribly lacking
• The appetizers were delicious but the mains were not that delightful

• I wouldn't bother going there more than once and definitely not with friends it's just meant for a professional wine and dine

• The Haz Cafe is conveniently located close to the St Paul&rsquo
