Golden Union Fish Bar (Soho)

• Golden Union is one of them
• My wife thinks it's the best she has ever had
• Their mushy peas and tartar sauce is also brilliant
• Highly recommended whether you are a tourist or a local
• Do visit them once to try one of the best fish and chips you will ever find in London
• Oxford street and the surrounding areas are full of restaurants and cafes
• This is where I takes friends who are from outside the UK and are in London as a tourist
• By the way all fishes come with a massive portion of chips
• The seaside is only a train ride away
• Getting fresh fish is no problem at all
• Lucky enough I was in the Oxford Street area
• All my brain was thinking of was FISH &
• The batter was crispy light
• The chip was fluffy with a slight crisp
• I'm sure you'll be delighted to know there are even more restaurants that will not give your wallet a serious blow this summer
• The idea of it seemed a bit bizarre to me at first just a plate of hummus with pita bread

• The tartar sauce however was amazing and diffused the tasteless fish and I ended up enjoying the sauce more than the fish

• The small one was actually enough to feel full and the staff was really nice to us
• They removed my plate of chips before I was done eating
• Really friendly staff with a good choice of fish
• The fish itself was tasty but as for the oil

• Cute little fish and chip shop with an old school diner feel
• Generous portion sizes with the option of dine in or take away
• So last weekend I was in London for a wee bit and had to get fish and chips
• Chips (they were freshly made thick cut) with homemade secret recipe tartare sauce was just perfect for my hunger pangs
• Halibut or Haddock and just right fries are served quickly in a bright and clean modern diner atmosphere
