  • Golden bird is an average Chinese restaurant set near Mile end Tube station

  • As the other places were simply take out places

  • The menu is slightly confusing as it gives you different options depending on the time of the day where during lunch it is inexpensive

  • Lunch option was a stir fry with a side of rice

  • The service however was not very good

  • There was no one in the restaurant but I was seated in the middle of the restaurant in the middle of the draft from the door

  • I asked if I could move my table to another two person table but the server was adamant that I should sit there
