The first thing that crossed my mind was that it was in desperate need of refurbishment
-
The atmosphere was dingy and the lighting was minimal to say the least
-
The paint on the walls is chipping and most of the furniture needs replacement
-
I was shown to a corner table where the lighting was so bad I was finding it hard to read the menu
-
It came in a shallow dish with five small chunks of luke warm chicken
-
The only saving grace to the place is that the service is good
-
We were suddenly in a very tiny room a bit crowded (nothing easier considered the dimension) and with loud music
-
At first it is quite a shock then the taste afterwords is pleasant
-
Back when the liquor licensing rules were tighter and all the bars shut at 10.30pm you could still get a drink downstairs in Garlic and Shots
-
With bottles of tequila with lizards in them and a menu of 101 different vodka
-
The creme de la creme of Olssons' drinks is the 'blood shot'
-
Garlic and tomato juice shot that goes down the gullet with the same speed the chilli shoots up your nose and enflames the back of your throat
-
The food at Olssons is primarily garlic infused
-
The kitchen itself is in the rear courtyard of Garlic and Shots
-
My favourite part of Garlic & Shots (Soho) is the outside area
-
If you took to pre drinking with sufficient enthusiasm (an absolute survival must if you're going to brave Garlic &
-
The heavy metal is so loud that you feel it more than hear it
-
The crowd at the bar seem like they were entombed here in the late 70s
-
I am their regular customer and this is because of the excellent food that these guys have been providing
-
The portions are also very filling and you mind end up taking the leftovers home because they are huge
-
Don't miss out if you are somewhere nearby
-
The bar has drinks that taste like mixed with effluent liquids
-
The service offered at Garlic & Shots (Soho) was highly disappointing
-
The service was alright but the bar staff was ripping off the customers by charging as they felt for the drinks and sometimes overcharging for the same drink
-
The food at Garlic & Shots (Soho) is so not worth your money
-
Garlic & Shots (Soho) is highly under rated
-
Atmosphere is all lively and vibrant
-
Good to enjoy a drink or two with your friends
-
Also the food portions are not even large enough
-
One of the must try at the place is the garlic chili shot
-
The service is good with the staff being very friendly and courteous
-
I tracked down Garlic & Shots (Soho) with my friends on fifth street
-
The garlic beer was new and different and I absolutely loved it
-
Ended up having a few of the drinks with peculiar names
-
Then the restaurant space on the ground floor and towards the back is really nice
-
I had the Tony Montana and it was a very garlic y and crisp shot
-
The service takes too long to deliver however you can give it a go if you are fond of food which is overpowered by garlic
-
I came here with my friend to taste the famed garlic shots served here
-
The service was lovely throughout the meal
-
We were very politely informed that our choice of appetizer was not available
-
The chicken was amazingly rich
-
My fried challenged me for the six shot challenge and I was pretty happy to take that challenge
-
The menu for the shots was huge and I really liked the Garlic Chili Shot
-
The staff is friendly here and they are attentive too
-
I really like visiting Garlic & Shots (Soho) as it is very unusual
-
The food they serve here is incredibly delicious
-
The one point to mention is that there is garlic in almost everything
-
The vibe is pretty cozy with home cooked food
-
Then Garlic & Shots (Soho) is a must visit for you
-
I had recently visited Garlic & Shots (Soho) and was taken aback by the kind of service i received
-
It was efficient and the staff was very amicable
-
They have a creepy basement bar but I'm sure that you are going to like that
-
That might be because of the fact that they were tired smiling all day but for me that is a must condition
-
The atmosphere is perfect and very enjoyable
-
The staff does seem rude but that is perfectly fine
-
Garlic & Shots (Soho) is very melancholic in its overall atmosphere
-
We tried the garlic pops and we were pleasantly surprised by the taste
-
When I went there Garlic & Shots (Soho) was filled with families and metal music was playing
-
In food I had potato skins and according to me everything was perfect there
-
Garlic & Shots (Soho) is sure a visit
-
The restaurant is spread on two floors with one being very boring and the other was pretty funky and dimly lit
-
The staff seems disinterested and is slow and inattentive
-
The prices are decent but that does not cut it for the less than friendly management
-
Its most likely that you're going to fall in love with any shot you order at Garlic & Shots (Soho)
-
I went to Garlic & Shots (Soho) with some of my Yelp friends last week and we ordered several rounds of shots
-
If you love metal music and you like rock and roll then Garlic & Shots (Soho) is surely for you
-
One more condition you should like garlic too ( as the name suggests that is pretty obvious)
-
If you like shots and metal music this is your perfect place
-
There's not much space but if you are lucky enough to get a table just sit down and pick some shots
-
3 and they are quite strong
-
It is something unusual to take your friends to as even if they are not into that type of music and decor they will appreciate how unusual it looks
-
The Garlic Meatballs are the most delicious thing I have had in a long while
-
The bloodshot was pretty good
-
In fact the only thing I don't love about it are the toilets
-
They're pretty grim which is pretty bad for an eatery
-
On the first floor you have the restaurant reservations are almost always necessary although if it's early a small group may get lucky with a walk in
-
I highly recommend the chicken quesadiila the portion is generous and it's a really flavourful
-
The corn tortillas topped with halloumi are fantastic for a lighter bite
-
You have to have a side of the garlic bread not only is it amazing
-
Drinks options can be limited beer choices are very few and soft drinks are limited to Coke (full fat) and Sprite
