The Flask (Highgate)

• The whole of Hampstead village makes you feel you are in English countryside and these pretty outside pubs just make Sundays more awesome
• The Flask is a beautiful 15th century village inn with plenty of seating inside and outside
• They have a well stuffed bar with ample choices in beer and wine and other drinks
• Their food is proper British pub food and although the menu is limited
• The Flask is perhaps my favourite pub in London with its great history
• Fresh bread and oil were brought to our table with the water while we waited on the meal
• You should visit The Flask in Highgate for a drink and/or meal with a friend or two
• Sat outside but ended waiting 25mins with no service so went inside and ordered ourselves
• We ordered the Sunday lunch for 3 and the meals were stone cold
• Waitress said all they could do was re heat it as its stood for ages
• Waited another 35mins and the same food back but it was stone cold
• A nice pub with a great outdoor area
• The food was okay as was the service
• Really lovely old fashioned pub with lots of nooks and crannies
• Mushroom and lentil soup was great as well a little salty due to the pancetta
