Farm Girl Cafe (Notting Hill)

• Had lunch at this delightfully spacious and airy cafe with courtyard on Portobello Road
• My companion and I agreed it was one of the tastiest sandwiches ever
• I love the menu here it combines dairy free offerings such as cashew cream with chicken and tuna dishes as well as the delicious vegan options
• The courtyard is a lovely place to sit on a summer's day
• The kitchen was short staffed and they told us no hot foods would be served and then no food at all as they had run out
• Maybe it was an off day with so many of the staff members missing and it reflected poorly also on the food
• The space is lovely and the food was ok and not good enough to make us forget the service issues and run back
• I hope our experience at Farm Girl was a very unlucky one but it was one of the worst service days ever as they ran out of hot foods
• Even though we were starving at that point
• The eggs were mediocre and the only saving grace is how adorable the setting is
• Bad start as all arriving guests were told the wait would be 15 30 mins but we ended up waiting for an hour for brunch on a Sunday afternoon
• Super nice the space and the waiting is not that long even at weekends (winter)
• The pancakes are a huge dose which was not my favourite but the rest of the menu is very good
• Healthy brunch cafe where you'll have to wait in a queue for about an hour due to popularity (though this is true for most brunch places in London)
• Mediocre at best for others
• What really saddens me about Farm Girl Cafe (Notting Hill) is terrible service
• Obviously I was not happy and express this to which the waitress cheekily replied that if I couldn't wait 5 more minutes I could order some pastries (not for free)
• The space itself is super cosy
• The menu has some interesting things especially if you're vegan/gluten free like the buckwheat pancakes we had which were ok (they look better than what they taste but they're really healthy
• How could you not love an area that's dotted with pastel tones and lined with colours
• Last Sunday it was with a grumbling stomach that I found myself in this neck of the woods
• When I heard this brunch cafe was run by Aussies
• My soup had a metal bristle in it which I almost swallowed I assume it was from the dish washing brush
• Peeking at their website I also found out it was dog friendly
• A catch up with the girls were due and since one of them had a dog I mentioned to go to Farm Girl Café
• We had a great time just catching up I did notice the service was incredibly slow
• The acai bowl come with all natural and superfood goodies
• Only wished the actual acai was colder as it was quite warm
• The lavender and rose infused coffees are just as delicious as they look
• I had the White Devon Crab Cakes was such a miss as it was dry and no flavour
• People would wait hours to get their hands (mouth) on farm girl famous avocado on toast paired with a Rose late
• A double shot with rose water infused milk &
• Served on a beautiful ceramic plate with crushed rose petals decorated to one side with the glass in the middle
• Also topped with crushed petals to one side on top of perfect latte art
• The drink itself was essential a double shot
• Smooth flat white with a hint of rose water seeping throughout
• Organic blue matcha powder with almond milk
• It is subtle in taste but when added to products is enlightened aswell as providing a beautiful colouring
• All the standard hot drinks are available with the non standard including charcoal latte
• Farm Girl Cafe is a trendy and &lsquo
• The cafe specialises in healthy breakfasts/brunches and would work best for a table for two situation as our table for 3 was cramped into an awkward corner
• Atmosphere and my company were all great so I wasn&rsquo
• I could defo taste the rose water so it was sort of the Turkish delight of lattes
• Avocado Toast with Poached Egg (£
• The pomegranate sprinkling was a good shout and the poached egg was done to perfection
• Quite pricey but my stomach was very pleased and that&rsquo
• Unfortunately the food was really mediocre
• I had the apple pancakes which were burnt on the edges and totally drenched in syrup
• The only great thing was the coconut shaving topped on the pancakes
• My friend had the eggplant dish with poached eggs and tahini
• I felt like the food menu was trying too hard to give off this "
• The combinations that we had were really bizarre
• I finally got the chance to try the place with my friends
• We just had to wait 15min to have a table and even with a long queue outside we never felt the pressure to hurry up during our brunch
• The dishes were very well prepare
• Even the bread was gluten free so even people with specific needs can enjoy this amazing place and atmosphere

• I ordered an avocado toast and it was simply the best combination ever with the strawberries on top
• Unfortunately I also ordered the rose latte and the flower taste was too strong to my personal taste
