Fabrique (Hoxton)

• Eat Scandi (a review of my first experience is here) where we finished off the meal with slices from three different Scandi cakes

• Bageriet boldly claims to bake the best cinnamon buns in London
• D heard that previous to their opening the best were to be found at Fabrique
• The bakery is situated in one of the arches of the Kingsland viaduct
• The bakery is at the back of the building
• The counter was laden with various buns
• Take the cinnamon one away with me for &lsquo
• My flat white was swiftly brought over
• All their coffee is from Johan &
• The espresso was made from single estate Brazilian beans
• The cardamon bun however was perfection
• The pastry was light and flaky
• The filling was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy
• When I eventually got home I tried the cinnamon one and was equally impressed
• The coffee is fine if with milk
• A surprisingly satisfying breakfast sandwich considering all it had was generous amounts of cheddar and rocket
• The most impressive item on the menu at fabrique is a cardamom bun
• It tastes delicious and is one of a kind
• The cafe itself is really cool
• The location is convenient and peaceful also
