El Patron (Putney)

• Average food with bad timing
• None of the staff knew who was having what
• You get choked with cigarette fumes
• Its atmosphere is fabulous for a fun get together with friends and perfect for a casual birthday bash or after drink celebration
• They're GOOD and you get your money's worth with HUGE jars of the stuff
• Stuffed to bursting with juicy carnitas pork
• My only criticism is that I wish we were given some salsa or something to dip them into
• The atmosphere is buzzy and friendly
• Both the waiters were friendly and really knowledgable
• It was an incredibly fun atmosphere at El Patron with a live band Truly Medley Deeply performing all night to get the floor moving
• Downstairs lies a colourful bar with high tables and chairs
• Frozen margaritas were the well to go in the form of alcohol slush
• Light and airy space with lots of tables for those wanting an informal meal
• S interiors continues the Mexican theme with its bright wooden shutters and exposed brick with some dancefloor space to shake a tail feather
• El Patron (Putney) is loud and fun
• These guys have kept it classy with Dia de Los Muertos murals
• Move on to the tacos (the fish ones are delightful as are the pulled pork) and add in a quesadilla and the mango salad just to get maximum satisfaction
• Meet at the table and get down to business (as in cocktails and tortilla chip dipping) with flirtatious small talk as the music level increases
• I've dropped in here after work and was so impressed by el patron
• The service was charming and the food exceptional
• I've had a lot of burritos but this pulled chicken one was the best I've had
• Added to this the mango and avaocado salad was delicious too with good portion size unlike some places
• Press events are always lots of fun
• M not a frequent visitor of suburbia and so it is with trepidation that I accept an invitation to the launch party of El Patron
• Had a shredded beef burrito which was big in size and bigger in flavour
• El Patron is a cosy but lively restaurant and bar serving with delicious Mexican tapas and amazing margaritas
• Their veggie options are not vast but just ask the servers as they're happy to suggest something off menu for you
