El Camion (Soho)

• Has two floors but the downstairs is the most fun and lively
• Food is good and so are the drinks
• We tried about six different dishes between us and they were all enjoyed
• Fillings and toppings are far from sparse
• We ordered shredded pork carnitas nachos to share as a starter and it came toppling with all the usual suspects
• The cheese was thinly grated so there wasn&rsquo
• The slow roasted pork was truly immense
• Chicken tinga tostadas were piled Jenga style with a mountain of meat
• You can fit an entire one in your mouth with just enough space to allow for respiration
• S enchilada was working its magic with a supremely sweet sauce
• The nachos had already filled us pretty well so with sides of Mexican rice and spicy potatoes (aka Patatas Bravas on crystal meth) thrown in this bordered on endurance

• Friday night was Mexican night
• The seating was a little bit of a squeeze
• The upside of that though is that it&rsquo
• ) But this is too close to home
• I always have a great time here with my friends
• It's perfect for big meals with friends or small meals for a date whatever occasion it is
• I love it it is feast food at its best
• The prices here are reasonable
• The portions are big and the food is homemade
• I've probably tried everything on the menu but the wet burritos are hard to beat so yummy and bursting with filling
• The margaritas rock though and the Tommy's one with a dash of agave syrup is probably my fave
• Also the Espresso Martini is pretty special as its inventor is the head barman here
• Within twenty minutes your plate is scraped clean
• The cocktails are incredible
• Also they make these things called Batidas which are like frozen alcoholic slushies with cachaca and condensed milk
• A good night is definitely on the cards when it comes to El Camion
• The walls are adorned with a lot of Mexican stuff with one wall full of Mexican sauces
• The burrito came with some Mexican rice and salad
• The food was inviting right from the time the plates were laid on the table
• The grilled fish in the burrito was excellent and so were the enchiladas
• Huevos rancheros is a popular breakfast dish on rural Mexican farms comprising eggs served upon lightly fried corn tortillas and topped with a tomato chili sauce
• It's one of my personal favourite breakfasts and was initially intended to be hearty enough to give the workers the energy required to get through a morning of hard labour
• El Camion are paying homage to this beloved national dish with sides of seasoned portobello mushrooms and a spicy potato stew which was surprisingly delicious
• Probably the first thing to make you smile on entering this basic cafe style restaurant is the vast collection of pepper sauce bottles on four shelves that run right along the back wall
• The second is likely to be the impressive cocktail list &ndash
• No frills Mexican food with an enticing cocktail menu
• Went in for a few drinks late Wednesday night and loved it A really energetic place with a great vibe highly recommend it
• T leave you feeling hung over with a headache the next day
• The atmosphere is lovely and cozy and staff is very nice
• We had tortilla with fiaccola that were very good
• We had a burrito that came together with rice and salad (included) that tasted good
• We also had a salad with grilled fish
• El Camion (Soho) is a great setup for a few pre drinks before heading out anywhere
