  • The Cornershop is often busy

  • Decent outdoor area with benches and chairs

  • Even though it is decent for bites

  • The downstairs room is occasionally used for bigger event such as DJ's nights

  • The Cornershop is perfectly placed in Shoreditch

  • Albeit the quality is not the best

  • The Corner Shop is a really nice pub at the corner of the intersection between Hackney Road and High Shoreditch street

  • The atmosphere in The Cornershop (Shoreditch) is very often spot on

  • The enthusiasm is often generated by the football fans which come and populate the pub on Saturdays and Sundays

  • Corner Shop is the perfect place to come and watch a football game

  • Food at the Corner Shop is really not on par

  • Otherwise drinks (mainly pints for me) are cheap for the area

  • The Cornershop (Shoreditch) packs up fast and closes at 2am so best to get there early

  • Nice place to have a drink with friends on the evening or to watch the football games

  • Price are fair enough and the staff is really nice

  • The kitchen is not excellent except the pizzas

  • On Friday and Saturday night DJ's are coming and most of the time there is a really good atmosphere

  • The service is cool even when it's crowded

  • I had a lot of fun with my friends in here

  • The Corner shop often has events on that are worth taking a look at

  • Honestly it was just very bad and I did not even make it half way through the show

  • The bar on the ground floor is nice and has a good selection of different beers to chose from

  • I had a bad experience that night but I would not stay it is a bad place because there are many different events that take place

  • I went for the first time when I found out some of my university course mates were DJ ing a night of house music there

  • Happy hour is between 3pm to 7pm and there are plenty of savings to be made during this time

  • Situated between old st and shoreditch high street station it is well located

  • The first impression when you happen on The Cornershop (Shoreditch) is that it looks a little grotty

  • There are two things this venue is good at though

  • The first one is self explanatory with league games and international competitions shown on the big screens

  • The second bit is some really good music if you are into your R&

  • The club downstairs can get a bit packed and its customers are the more dressed up kind wanting to make a night of it

  • The staff are quite nice and even during busier periods the security team are probably one of the most cordial I have met in the area

  • Had a hilarious Friday night here last week yes downstairs is about the same size as your average sitting room/dining room but if you like R&

  • They staff were rude from this conversation not returning calls and then trying to up the reservation fee from £

  • The obnoxious door staff first refused entry as the male was wearing a cap (so cap removed) then made some fuss that the girl did not have correct ID

  • Tried to reason with the most unpleasant door staff i've ever encountered

  • These guys were like dumb and dumber

  • Their unwillingness to try and accommodate a large party of people who were spending a great deal of money in an otherwise empty bar was a joke

  • Unfortunately it was too late for us all to move to a venue that would accommodate us at such short notice

  • No wonder there are so many repercussions
