Clocktower Cafe (Croydon)

• I was here with my friend to have a small meal
• My baguette was nicely toasted and the Mexican chicken was very filling
• Every time I go there the service is just fantastic
• Attentive staff lovely food which is cooked well and filling
• In my opinion this is the best café
• The prices are reasonable and portions are just right
• The tea and coffee area was before the bill counter and the server could have asked us to pick the cups before returning to table
• Veggie sausages amongst the best i have tasted so far
• The gentleman host is welcoming and extremely accommodating offering substitutions and serving promptly
• The food is superb best jacket potato for miles
• The prices are fair and reasonable
• The atmosphere is convivial a bright and friendly space
• Don't forgot the Croydon Museum (in the same building) with exhibits from the Anglo Saxon to the present day fashions
