Camino is a lively Spanish bar and restaurant with serves a great array of tapas all day
-
The restaurant is light and airy
-
There's a huge variety of tapas to choose from the chicken skewers and sea bass were both highlights for me and while you can select a few individual dishes
-
It's probably best to lump for a couple of sharing platters between a group
-
The wine list to compliment this is also impressive
-
The service was a little show for my liking
-
One thing to note is that while the menu doesn't change throughout the day
-
It can get lively later in the evening but it is not really an end destination
-
Only negative is that it is quite expensive well over £
-
Tuesday's are good as you get a free little tapas with each drink
-
It can get quite crowded and sticky as it is a popular place to hang out before moving to a happening club
-
Weekend nights are rather crazy and you have to shout to make yourself heard
-
My favourite moment was during the football world cup
-
When the courtyard was full of football fans watching the screen
-
Camino is right round the corner from Kings Cross and is located in a very social little hub of small bars and restaurants
-
Its a fun modern place with the great tastes of spain
-
The platters are really worth it
-
The restaurant has an authentic feel and is really close to the station
-
As is the atmosphere and there is plenty of seating
-
The service is also friendly and efficient
-
It is normally buzzing with people and is a popular place for drinks or a sit down meal
-
A restaurant that hits with the option of a "
-
The food itself is really good
-
They have the single thing I ask for in every Spanish restaurant yet am always met with a confused stare
-
A rich creamy espresso topped with condensed milk
-
Traditionally this can be added to with mulled brandy and it is simply the most delicious caffeinated experience of my life
-
I like this restaurant the food is authentic there is just something missing in the atmosphere
-
On the advice of Zomato reviews this restaurant was on my list when being around King&rsquo
-
As dessert was outstanding
-
It is one of those places where I would like to go back with some friends and share dishes because I do think that the food is really delicious and the quality is just what I expect from a restaurant
-
All the best known tapas are available here such as tortillas
-
The service is brisk and the pricing reasonable
-
Ham and cheese croquettes are often a bit rubbish in tapas places but they are great here
-
It gets really busy in the evenings with lots of local businesses nearby
-
The group's specialist sherry bar with 19 of the best sherries from the 'sherry triangle' region of Spain
-
The restaurant is slightly hidden away from the main Bar area which is full of life and some great music
-
T like reading scathing restaurant reviews is a goody two shoes or a liar
-
Re nasty or not but the difference is that while the positive ones are useful to know
-
The negative ones are quite simply
-
The Camino in Kings Cross is distinguished by their excellent attention to detail and delicious delivery
-
The thing I like is that the tomato bread is crispy
-
The portions of tapas generous and the chorizo is just right
-
The Sangria was silky smooth with a caramel/vanilla (I couldn't decide which) aroma
-
Definitely the best tasting Sangria I've ever had
-
Gin and Tonics are also a specialty
-
Served the Spanish way with lots of ice and perfectly matched garnish
-
The Chase Seville Orange was tantaslising
-
Six of us (including one vegetarian and one gluten free) we ordered 14 dishes and it was just about enough
-
The best dish by general consensus was the arroz negro
-
A black rice with cuttlefish and squid ink
-
The special was recommended by our waiter with gusto
-
The only dish that did not get hoovered up was the piquillo peppers with black quinoa
-
Long doughnut sticks with a melted chocolate dip
-
Apparently it was quite tart
-
The creamy custard was sweet and light
-
Tea was served with a multi egg timer so you can gauge the strength you wish
-
Right across the courtyard in Varnisher's Yard is Bar Pepito
-
She also informed us that the food is mostly authentic but much much smaller portions and priced way too high
-
Bar Pepito is adjacent to Camino
-
The dining area is well laid out
-
The service was excellent really friendly and helpful
-
The black rice was so moorish
-
My only complaint is that I ate too much
