The Bull and The Hide (City of London)

• The only black note is that you have to wait for a table even if you had reserve one
• I was very pleased to see it was cooked perfectly
• The French fries were really good and the relish was delicious
• Dessert choices were limited due to a busy lunch service
• Our only complaint was that it didn't come with any bread
• When we asked for some we were told it was being baked and would be brought to us in 5mins

• The Bull pub had a strangely quiet atmosphere when we came in (although it was more lively by the time we left)
• The appetising pile of pork pies on the counter was enough to convince us to stay
• We ordered from the snack menu a scotch egg with curried mayo for me and a sausage roll
• Fish was cooked alright but the most disappointing part was they served fries
• Well there is a reason it's called fish and chips guys
• If one needs fries then McDonald's is always open
• There is no end of pubs packed to the brim with customers brimming out on to the street
• Breaded harissa halloumi fingers and macaroni cheese balls best but it was all pretty yummy
