  • This is place is defiantly worth going for the lunch specials and the view over the water is brilliant

  • They sat us at a great table by the window with a panoramic view of Tower Bridge and the Thames

  • So the view is obviously a big attraction

  • Food wise it was a bit hit and miss (more miss than hit)

  • The Razor clams I had were nothing special

  • The mackerel was a bit overcooked

  • The pickled cucumbers with mustard and dill that accompanied it was delicious

  • Main course I had grilled leg of lamb with tomatoes and courgettes

  • The lamb was perfect (well apart from the fact there was not enough of it and there was a real glut of vegetables)

  • The meringue dessert was rather messy looking but tasted good

  • The strawberry shortcake was less successful

  • Some restaurants with a view compensate with either underwhelming food or high prices

  • Mark Jarvis is now the head chef

  • The wine list was organised by style and had selections such as Elderton Shiraz 2009 at £

  • Sourdough rolls made with buttermilk were excellent

  • Although there are limits to how exciting this dish is ever likely to be

  • Fennel and rocket salad and Romesco sauce was a nicely balanced dish

  • In my youth was regarded as cat food rather than sort of fish that would appear at the dining table

  • The coley itself was accurately timed and properly seasoned (14/20)

  • Even better was chicken leg

  • Char grilled and served with curly kale

  • Onions with the chicken were nicely sweet

  • Blood orange parfait was served with olive oil sponge and blood orange syrup

  • The parfait was not too cold and had reasonable flavour

  • D restaurants will limit the freedom the chef has with regards to ingredient quality at this price point

  • If you want to eat in a room with a view then you should consider the Blueprint Café

  • The 'market' menu is great value

  • Dessert was ok panacotta was too gelatinous

  • The hazelnut praline was way too creamy

  • Winelist was well priced and with plenty of variety

  • The restaurant is located right next to the museum design and offers tasty British cuisine

  • The restaurant is very bright and makes you feel that you are at one step from the river

  • The service is great and the servers will offer you two options for your lunch

  • We had salmon for the starter and the chicken yellow ross for the main and it was a nice treat

  • The portions were a little bit small but very good

  • Is a big plus for a restaurant with great assets

  • Came for a meal to catch up with family and had a fantastic experience

  • Amazing view of Tower Bridge along with friendly service

  • The food was excellent really impressed with the quality

  • Overlooking the Thames is a glorious spot to enjoy a meal

  • His new Saturday brunch menu is a guaranteed weekend delight

  • The new brunch menu is no exception

  • I found my Wye Valley asparagus with Parmesan custard and crispy Parma ham (£

  • A mild and creamy Kedgeree with hay smoked North Sea haddock and Burford brown eggs and topped (£

  • 12 as a main) was just the sort of comfort food item I&rsquo

  • Judging from good vibes in the restaurant while I was there &ndash

  • We started with Parsnip soup

  • Then moved on with some Risotto and ended with choice of desserts from the menu

  • We had sparkling wine as well which was really nice

  • The acoustics are not great and the window tables also have the advantage of being quieter

  • We arrived very hungry so ordered the red pepper and walnut dip with crisp bread

  • Also the sour dough melba toast was drenched in olive oil

  • I would have preferred a dip that was flavored more like a romesco than a muhumarra

  • My companion's lamb pie was very pretty

  • Very meaty and with little fat

  • A quenelle of wild garliic pesto was a great compliment

  • The lamb jus was intriguiging with a tiny hint of aniseed in the background

  • The accompanying oxtail and bone marrow sauce was rich and had been sweetened with port

  • The roast hispi cabbage with crisp shards of prosciutto and a light coating of cheese and mustard sauce was brilliant

  • Some of the best cabbage I have eaten

  • The accompanying hollandaise was quite masterful being more acidic than usual
