Bluebird Chelsea Restaurant (Chelsea)

• Bluebird Chelsea restaurant is located in the former garage Bluebird
• Rocket salad with Parmesan cheese
• Suckling pig with apple Charlotte and watercress or various steaks provide a classic ordinary saw
• Even if the food is not that innovative
• It was a little quiet as it was Monday in Jan but by the time we left it was buzzing
• The high ceiling with steel beams is very airy and impressive
• Bar area is lovely with very funky furniture
• We also did a dinner of about 20 people last year which was really good
• Coming to Bluebird Chelsea is always a treat
• When you enter there are MANY staff members attending to you
• Service is very good and Sunday lunch is a relaxed affair
• 3 courses and wine is fantastic value

• On this occasion we were around for my nephew's birthday party in Beaufort House so we took my parents to neighbouring restaurant Bluebird
• The Conran complex is something of an institution of the King's Road and it's where the stars of MIC hang out both on and off screen
• It was a sunny day and the glam Chelsea crowd were enjoying the courtyard and barbecue at the venue
• Bluebird really is everything under one roof
• Super cool with a metallic central circular bar
• Is fully stocked with plenty of champers
• Food at Bluebird is Modern European and including lots of British classics
• Tuna sashimi with ponzu dressing
• Jalapeno and avocado was the starter of choice for me and my dad
• Smoked salmon with the usual accoutrements
• Mr S went even more best of British with fish and chips
• My dad also had to help my mum finish her main but there was definitely no complaining from him
• My dad's dish was good old British lamb
• Really good ambience with music and a cocktail bar
• Sat in wait for the set menu the service was impeccable
• The only way this could surely be improved upon is by adding truffles
• The scallop also cooked to perfection however the braised saddleback pork belly was the highlight of the evening
• Allow all the flavour to pour out with every bite
• Food was packed with flavour especially the main and a beautiful creme brulee
• The last time I went it was a private dinner for about 20 and the atmosphere upstairs was perfect if a little dark by the end
• I usually go there for a glass of rose with my friend but one time we actually ordered some food as well
• They also have blankets In case you are still cold
• We ordered eggs Florentine with spinach and brioche muffin and eggs Royale which came with smoked salmon
• The food was served promptly and the eggs were done perfectly
• The reason why I always come back here is for the great atmosphere and friendly staff so I highly recommend Bluebird Chelsea Restaurant (Chelsea)

• The cuisine in venue is mosty British and Modern European
• The restaurant is one of the most famous venues in the Chelsea are and it has an amazing outdoor garden
• I went here years ago and was disappointed
• The staff here was not at all attentive
• The management was bit rude which I personally did not liked

• The lady at the reception told us it was a two hour wait
• I think it was more full when we left and she could have conveyed this more politely
• I recently visited this cafe and decided to have a cappuccino and must say that it was the worst cappuccino that I ever had in my life
• I love coming here in the summer especially when they have the barbecue out in the garden the food is always very delicious and it has a great environment
• I liked the restaurant and considering the location I thought the prices were reasonable
• The presentation was appetising without being over the top artistic and they served my tea (and soup) in a glass tea cup
• The service is shocking unfortunately because they are generally very understaffed

• Last time I went I had the tuna tacos from the new menu as per the chef's recommendation tasteless tuna with little garnishing in a soft taco
• The barbecue is generally a pretty solid choice
• The bar area is actually great for a drink and the bar staff are very knowledgeable/inventive on cocktails

• A three tier metal tea stand was presented to us with a great selection of baked goodness
• We both started at the bottom with smoked salmon tarts
• Crumbly buttery base filled with a creamy filling topped with slices of smoked salmon
• The real giveaway of a great afternoon tea place is the scones and Bluebird succeeds
• Drinking tea in England is daily ritual and can be enjoyed at any time of the day
• S something about drinking tea in the late afternoon with some cakes or biscuits that help me relax

• The very first restaurant I saw as I turned the corner from Beaufort St onto King's Road was the grand edifice of the Bluebird Cafe
• Sat outside enjoying a coffee in the sun was none other than Jean Paul Gaulthier
• That I sat down with a friend and enjoyed a meal that utterly changed the way I thought about the business of eating out

• Second attempt was to the bar/restaurant at 6ish
• Well presented girls greeting us as we stepped out of the lift and a nice bar with seats free
• The food in the restaurant is great and the service and atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends and family day or night
• The cocktails are always on point
• My only one issue is the lack of vegan dishes and salad choices
• We asked if the fish and chips was possible without beer batter and they kindly made it with sparkling water in the batter instead of beer
• Smoked haddock was delicious as well
• The atmosphere is fantastic I am especially fond of the terrace and the staff is lovely
• Had the open sandwich with smoked salmon so surprised when it arrived as I was not expecting such a generous portion of smoked salmon along with avocado
• Bluebird Chelsea was definitely on my list to visit within London
• Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised to see that the restaurant was kid friendly and during brunch hours the place is full of mature kids
