The Alfred Tennyson (Knightsbridge)

• The perfect day for this venue is however a sunny day as it is located on a quiet and pretty street in Mayfair that is really brought to life on a sunny day
• Mayo that came w/ my chicken burger was otherworldly
• *No photos unfortunately as it was too dark to see and too posh to draw attention with a flash
• The Alfred Tennyson is an elegant gastro pub in the heart of Belgravia which serves (among other things I am sure) an excellent breakfast
• My Full English came with two perfectly poached eggs
• Friends who ordered the soft poached eggs with crushed avocado were equally happy with their choice
• The croissants are to die for and well worth a second (to hell with the diet)
• Set over four floors this public house has been beautifully refurbished and the dining room is looking stunning
• The Alfred Tennyson is part of the Cubitt House group which operates four other pubs across the capital which are in some of London&rsquo
