Tony Macaroni (New Town)

• The service is amazing from start to finish' they are very friendly and welcoming and the food is really good
• I am a great lover of the tony macaroni's chain as the food is consistently really good
• We were shown to our table with no mention that someone would be over to take our order which usually happens in most places
• I understand that they were extremely busy but manners cost nothing and it shouldn't take too much time to smile
• Put a bit of a downer on the start of our meal but like I said the food is always great which it certainly was
• We shared the antipasti Cali for starters which is always a great choice then I had the polo Milanese and the sticky toffee pudding for desert
• If it wasn't for our waiter I would have scored Tony Macaroni (New Town) higher but we were then ignored three times when we were leaving
• This restaurant is quite frankly incredible
• I love that a lot of the staff are actually Italian and speak fluent Italian
• I had mozzarella dippers which were incredible and massive only criticism would be they could have been slightly hotter but that's only a little thing
• Absolutely massive portions probably *too* big really as both the starters and mains were a struggle to finish (the mains were abandoned half way through)
• That said the food was wonderful and will more than likely come back again
• Great family friendly restaurant with good food at reasonable prices
• Will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Edinburgh
• I decided to give Tony Macaronis a try and I'm sad to say I was disappointed
• Our waitress was in training
• Needless to say with all the fuss
• The Seafood Linguine was bland and swimming in oil (it said it came in a creamy sauce definitely no sign of the cream)
• The pizzas looked impressive on arrival but were bland and tasteless
• The Cajun chicken arrived as a chicken cheese burger (they did replace this with the correct order but by then the other 3 people had already eaten their meals)
• The place wasn't busy so there was really no excuse
• Italian cuisine at its best in edinburgh
• Nice place but I was disappointed with price/quality
• Had pasta with some prawns and my partner pizza with poor topping
• That price there are plenty places where I can eat much better
• Girl from bar was the best among all the other staff

• A pretty big outlet with a nice view
