Piecebox (Fountainbridge)

• Why do they even bother offering a choice of sandwiches if they are going to give you one you didn't want
• They seem like nice people but they are totally useless at making the right sandwich
• Just popped in today for a coffee with my mum and spotted this carrot cake
• The place was busy for a Monday late morning but service was friendly and quick
• I have tried their pancakes before so instead I ordered a flat white with Egg Benedict and she ordered berry smoothie and full vegetarian English breakfast
• Its also great that there are lots of options for breakfast
• When we arrived the place was so full but luckily there was a table for the 2 of us
• This is a very friendly place to eat out with family/friends
• Really cute cafe with a nice atmosphere
• Went in for a quick brunch with the boyfriend
• Bacon and maple syrup and a portion of eggs benefit with spinach and tomato
• The cake was homemade and yummy and we were each given a very decent sized slice
• Food and service was both great
• Then Piecebox is definitely a good bet
• S the perfect place to catch up with friends over a nice cuppa or two
• Wanting to escape the usual pub roast bravdo we were hoping for something that at least felt a little healthier
• Chandaliers and disco ball are a bit hipster (but I love that)
• They step nicely away from hipsters with big freshly made cakes propped up at the counter
• It is a good size but it is very popular so we had to wait to be seated
• Especially with the over cooked egg
• The food here is enjoyable so we will definitely be going back to sample more of their lunch menu
• T quite what it could be and is driven by where we tend to spend most of our time
• The sandwich was nice and tasty with all it's runny yolk goodness
• Went here for Saturday brunch with some friends
