  • The outlet is situated at Leith Walk

  • First time i visited Passage To India - Edinburgh (Broughton) i didn't like the food much however my second visit was memorable one

  • I went there with my colleague at second occasion

  • He knew the place and had some word with Attendant as we enter in the outlet and also went inside the Kitchen to talk to Chef

  • Surprise to me that he is so known to the place

  • Seriously the food was so dam yummy

  • Seekh kabab and Tandoori chicken were just out of the world

  • Both the dishes were so damn spicy and yummy I can't explain it even

  • My colleague explained that it is so spicy only on his request as restaurant don't serve such spicy food normally

  • The ambience was not so wow but its a decent

  • Not taking a chance we ordered Dal Tadka with Butter naan and a Paneer tikka gravy with Mushroom rice

  • The food was really amazing and the dal was very delicious

  • This rrstaurant is avg in respect to quality n taste of the indian cuisines

  • Then as there were quite a bit of delay for the starters to appear

  • We had to ask them to take the main course back as they were getting cold

  • May be because we were late night customers on the new year's day

  • The quantity of the dopeyaza n numbr of chkn pcs were less than we normally expect to suffice 2ppl

  • Overall it was an okay kind of experience

  • I visited Passage to India with a friend on her recommendation

  • Long dining space so there is plenty of room inside

  • I was delighted to see that chicken balti was on the menu so I couldn&rsquo

  • Tuk tuk during our stay in Edinburgh and this was also a good one taste wise we ordered ala crate &

  • Food taste is not so good and was just average

  • Chicken tikka dry was good to have but quality of paneer wasn't good

  • At the end we ordered just steam rice and Dal tadka which was good to have

  • The drinks I ordered was wrongly prepared

  • Passage to India is a restaurant with very limited choices

  • All seafood items were delicious without a doubt

  • It tasted sour and felt like its 2 3 days old or the material/ingredients which is used in preparing these dishes are old

  • Drinking water was served at least 40mnts later

  • Now questioning this to the Guy(waiter) with a attitude issue/problem

  • He was very quick to defend his inefficiency by saying that there was confusion in the kitchen and even then SO WHAT

  • I very much doubt if they have a management at all in place or this Joker( waiter) is given a free hand to go on with the show as long as he can or the restaurant itself can

  • Give it a pass and you are not missing a thing

  • Humble restro where the staff are also polite &

  • They make it up with there delicious food

  • Mango Lassi are must try here
