Mr Basrai's World Cuisine (Fountainbridge)

• With the massive selection they have to offer there is definitely something for everyone
• As a curry lover the curry for me was pretty bland
• There's also a stir fry station where you pick your veggies and chicken or beef and this is made fresh infront of you
• All of the stations were full and looked fresh
• When we returned I was surprised to see that our drinks hadn't been delivered yet
• I asked the same waitress we placed the order with 'Was our drink order put through
• By this point we were moving on to get our second plate of food
• I think there was only 1 girl delivering all of the restaurants drinks
• I usually hate buffet places as I believe the food is always bland and effortless
• The chicken tikka and sheek kabab is my favourite
• Absolutely amazing with garlic bread mixed with freshy seasoned salad
• The service is a hit or a miss
• As my nephews came and they barely ate so he charged us less but this time another management was being pretty awkward or rude when we asked to split the bill
• Halal which is always a plus
• I was visiting Edinburgh in mid October last year to co celebrate my best girlfriend's 49th birthday and she suggested that we come to this restaurant
• The atmosphere was great and the sweet girls serving our drinks and looking after us were just wonderful
• Arrived at 5.10pm and it was still not opened
• Opening on time is so important
• Quite unusual to see front of house not being friendly but was given a kinda "
• Lacked character and didn't seem to be experienced at all with customer service
• You can't use sushi rice when it is so over cooked like porridge and try shaping it into a long circular shape
• Well the selection was thorough but nothing outstanding and not worth the money at all
• The staff I feel are extremely poor at their job
• 1.5million and a new Mr Basrai is about to open down South
• Mr Basrai's World Cuisine (Fountainbridge) is well lit and has nicely decorated interiors
• Quite spacious with the dining space but gets a little cramped up around the areas where the food items are placed
• The cuisine is wide varied
• I had the Traditional Chicken Biryani which was nice but it was missing the next time
• The white rice in the egg fried rice was over boiled and it was not cooked properly
• The desserts were the perfect meal finishers
• The washroom is quite spacious
• The only thing that put me off a bit was dirty spoons (I had to wipe some food particles off one myself)
• This restaurant was very busy and it's understandable why
• The variety of food is fantastic and tasted fresh and full of flavour
• I had a great meal here and the staff were always helpful
• This is just undoubtedly the best place there is in Edinburgh to get Authentic Indian Food
• The other varieties also are exceptional
