  • The Lebowski Pub is not a typical pub with ordinary drinks

  • Had a chicken burger with chips and then a few famous drinks

  • The Big Lebowski is an incredible film

  • S got to be up there in our top films so we had high hopes that the bar with a Big Lebowski theme would soon feature in our list of top Edinburgh eateries

  • Drinks feature in a White Russian section of the menu and there are burgers bearing the same name as the bar/film

  • The burger was too charred

  • Nice and juicy with plenty of cheese oozing out from every angle

  • S no doubt this could have been a good meal with some minor tweaks

  • The drinks menu is dominated by a multitude of variations of the White Russian all of which were simply sublime

  • The food however was not up to bar

  • Structural integrity and pulled pork are not natural comrades

  • Another food fashion i've fallen victim for) is a wide selection of dark rum

  • This is excellent news for a girl who is saddened in any bar who list spiced rums as their only dark rums

  • The Big Lebowski is a Cohen Brothers comedy classic

  • The snag for me is that white Russian cocktails don&rsquo

  • Firstly that service is naturally slowed by the onerous volume of white Russians being made

  • They do a fine job of speeding it up with pre mixes and intimate knowledge of the different varieties

  • The music itself is great but there&rsquo

  • The white Russians are great and on a school night it actually passes for a decent pub

  • The prices are solidly mid market

  • Great place for a quick drink (make it any kind of white russian) after work or for an informal dinner with friends (their burgers are awesome)

  • I would recommend Lebowskis (West End) to go with friends for an easy night out

  • At times you are listening to the funky music rather than you're mates because the music is too loud

  • I went for the Big Macbowski burger which was good but a little dry

  • This would have been easily rectified with a sauce which you can order on the side

  • I really like the cheese on toast with caramelised onions

  • I tried the salted caramel which was a chalkboard special it was delicious

  • I had The Big Lebowski burger which was a double stacked beef burger

  • Along with chunky chips it was impossible to finish but tasted really great

  • They were also happy with their meals

  • I had the pulled pork was not disappointed and tats were fab will definitely be going back

  • Staff were very polite and helpful it was very busy at lunch time the service was fast

  • It's a pub with chilled atmosphere and quite young demographics

  • This is my best place for lunch during the week

  • 5 lunch deal which is just awesome

  • The must try is the White Russian obviously and their burgers and fish and chips are brilliant

  • I also been in with over 10 ppl for dinner and they handled us pretty well

  • On a weekend the bouncers are so welcoming as well and have great banter and suggestions of what to get

  • That was to be a Sunday morning before we were going to do some wedding stuff in town

  • D get Mr E on side and ready for the day with a full cooked breakfast and coffee
