Henri (Stockbridge)

• I was very impressed with the look of the place
• D recently been with me for a soup stop at Firth of Froth
• While I suspect the real treats of Henri lie with their charcuterie
• Their soup of the day was an intriguing sounding Thai spiced pepper
• The interior is split between a front deli shop
• With a wonderfully aromatic and chunky broth providing us with just the warming comfort that was required
• We followed with a couple of pots of tea
• The orange oolong was particularly delicate and refreshing
• Didn't realise there was a Stockbridge branch of Henri's I've been to the (original) one in Morningside and they have delicious hot chocolate and coffee as well as very tasty fat sandwiches
• There are only a few tables inside (and some outside if the weather is nice) but you are surrounded by shelves of beautiful French jars
• Friendly and helpful staff who are always happy to chat and recommend items from the deli
• Henri's hot chocolates sounded wonderful ( one with muscovado and seasalt and another with chilli
