Hanedan (Newington)

• I came here with a friend one Thursday evening we booked ahead as my friend had said the establishment was small so wanted to ensure we got a table
• There was only a few staff which was all that was needed but they were really nice and friendly
• I didn't know what to order so my friend suggested the lamb liver as a hot starter to mix with some cold starters
• The price of our meal was very very reasonable
• It's not just one big room there are a couple of different seating areas
• We ordered some meze to share to start our meal and we opted for the filo pastry with feta and spinach
• Everything was delicious but my favourite was probably the filo filled pastry
• My main I chose the mixed grill on a recommendation from my friend and it was an excellent choice
• The lamb was especially delicious but everything was cooked very well
• Served with rice with chili sauce
• The restaurant staff seemed quite rushed as it was pretty busy but I still had a great experience here
• The food at Hanedan's was a pleasant surprise for me as I didn't know what to expect
• I go away few times a year with friends or before concerts at the Queen's Hall
