  • The layout of tables is a little strange

  • Pieces of spiced sucuk sausage was simply presented

  • The main course was a notch or two better

  • The chicken and lamb pieces were served in tomato sauce

  • The first of these was burnt shallots in an intense dressing

  • I strongly suspect was pomegranate based

  • The other accompaniments were all strong dishes

  • Things were rounded out with outstandingly good homemade baclava and Turkish tea

  • M confident they will become a firm favourite with Edinburgh diners

  • In Haringey Street there are lots of Turkish restaurants

  • So I cannot stress enough that Rodi Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant (West End) is just rubbish

  • We went there with a group of friends and from the total price of 200£

  • They just feed you mostly with chicken which is not a Turkish typical meat after all

  • ) and visit Haringey which is a paradise for Turkish cuisine and you would pay for the meal we ordered just 150£

  • Not even mention GREED with no serving normal black tea

  • More and more Turkish restaurants are opening in Edinburgh

  • I thought it was about time I gave it a go

  • We stumbled upon Rodi when we were going to the EICC for a Fringe show and I'm very glad we did

  • The staff are very friendly and the food is very well cooked

  • The meats each had their own flavour but the lamb chops were deliciously salty and the chilli and garlic sauces were great with the rice

  • The restaurant is a bit small yet comfortable

  • Gave you a feeling that you are eating at a Turkish restaurant in Turkey itself

  • Hands down this is the most delicious Turkish food i ever tasted in my life

  • The tenderness of the meat and freshness of the salad combine with special sauce make you grateful that you are alive to taste the food

  • T tasty enough and a lot of it is just grilled to dry

  • The service is a whole other matter though
