Chicken katsu burger served with wasabi mayo was an absolute delight
-
The chicken was succulent and juicy with the richness offset by the tartness of a gherkin
-
Service at the counter was super friendly and she offered a taster of the earl grey custard ice cream without hesitation
-
Fries could do with a bit of tweaking to get full marks
-
Price point is fabulous for the quality you're getting
-
The burgers were extremely good value for money and the burger sauce was very tasty the chips were very good too
-
If you're looking for a good place to go for a chilled out meal with a few friends then this hits the spot
-
I had the Juicy Bleucy with Stilton in between the two burger patties it was incredibly delicious and I was so impressed with the burger but at the same time could have done with a tad more cheese
-
I also loved the hand cut fries with their uneven shapes
-
The relish was also tasty
-
We were offered a sample of Tea for Two which is Burger's special dessert of earl grey ice cream with tea cakes
-
What I did fancy was one of their shakes
-
These aren't the British poor excuse for a shake that you usually find these were proper ice cream shakes
-
I was well impressed with Burger the first time I went (five star experience) but the second time I went the burgers weren't quite as flavourful and the chips weren't as crispy and good
-
Have only had a takeaway cheese and bacon burger but it was probably the best I've ever had
-
The burgers are a good size and leave you comfortably full afterwards
-
It was a hot dog with lashings of festive trimmings
-
The sausage itself was standard (a typical frankfurter
-
Selling alcohol is a nice touch
-
Not only is it rated as the best burger joint in Edinburgh
-
The burgers are a little overrated and I've definitely had better
-
The wasabi and mayonnaise from my chicken burger was all over the place
-
The beef bacon burger is amazing but again
-
The shakes were amazing and I'd probably head back from the fries and shake and go to Mcdonalds for a Big Mac instead
-
Everything is way over salted
-
Definitely not the best burger place in Edinburgh compared to the likes of Gourmet Burger Kitchen on George street or Rascals
-
Visited Burger with a group of friends before Christmas to try out some of their Christmas burgers and catch up
-
I've tried many a burger so the bar was set pretty high
-
Bacon and honey roasted parsnips were a hit and I'm gutted it was a seasonal special
-
The buzzer system for knowing when your food is ready was really neat too
-
The flavours are amazing &
-
I stumbled across it after rambling around with rumbling tummies
-
I had a classic cheeseburger with fries and s
-
Had the chicken katsu burger with cheesy fries
-
The katsu burger was a little odd for both of our tastes
-
The whole experience was pretty fun
-
The flashing buzzers that alerted us to our meal was a nice touch
-
We felt that though the food was good and the prices ok
-
There are other places that serve better burgers for better prices and that are just as good in our books
-
I had a double one before but there was too much meat and I couldn't taste the bun
-
Their chips are amazing and I would definitely recommend ordering them
-
I've tried the chocolate milkshake as well which was great and tasted like made from an ice cream
-
Fountainbridge is close to where I live
-
The style of this restaurant is an American
-
I have never not liked anything that I have ordered but my personal favourite is the vanilla and peanut butter milkshake
-
The only thing that puts me off Burger is that it can be quite quiet
-
This is not helped by the fact that it is self service as it makes the process a lot quicker
-
Being self service means there is not a lot of interaction between customer and staff
-
We had the cheese bacon burger and buffalo and BBQ wings with cheese fries
-
The interior is stripped back so the food can do the talking and Burger is no exception
-
With large windows but it is quite charming
