Brasserie Les Amis (West End)

• The spinach and watercress soup was a healthy vivid green and tasted delicious
• Lovely authentic French bread was offered and devoured
• Brasserie Les Amis (West End) is also a deli with good bread and cakes to take away
• The owner's wife is French and he spent a lot of time in France (He was very friendly and came across to chat to us) so proper French cooking can be expected
• I came here because it was empty and i was looking for a place to think and reflect
• The salmon was well put together
• Tangy soft cream that just melt but it was hard enough not to become water after i intentionaly waited 3 mins before eating it (while taking more photos)
• I normally don't like the skin of chicken but this was super flavoursome and crispy
• It was a burst of taste that went well with the white meat on the chicken breast
• The lemon tart was a slight let down
• Knowing the strawberry was not in season and not sweet enough to contrast the sour tart
