The Antiquary (Stockbridge)

• The Antiquary is kind of my local pub and I love it for what it is
• This hidden pub is an absolute gem
• I had duck confit and it was most likely the best pub food I've ever had in Edinburgh
• The atmosphere is nice and friendly with live music on Thursdays
• The only downside is that it is so hidden that you might not find it if you don't know where it is
• My boyfriend and I met family here last Sunday for brunch before the rugby and it was a great choice
• We were quite a big group so there was still a good atmosphere
• The brunch menu is simple but effective and I went for the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs
• The portion was very generous and the toasted bread the salmon and eggs were served on was delicious
• Other people ordered the pancakes and the full breakfast and everyone was pleased with their meal
• The bar and restaurant are both downstairs so it has a cosy feel
