Chai Street (Cardiff)

• Part of mint and mustard in cardiff they are from the same Management
• Overall I liked the paratha chicken but the Veg thali was not up to the mark
• Perhaps the chef was South Indian and couldn't justify the North Indian thali
• The chaat which we added on later was quite nice
• Main course I ordered lamb biryani which was a tad disappointing
• Chai Street Cardiff bay would for sure catch your attention when you are passing by the lanes in Cardiff bay
• Its converted to a well lit place that seems like a Dhabha with open trucks
• Then the seating options are quite comfortable too
• The biryanis were served along with curd raitha papad and some pickle
• The vegetarian version is a mix of all veggies paired with some delectable spices like cardamom
• Then comes the chicken biryani the meat is cooked well and has loads of simple spices
• WE tried some drinks on the menu and they are pretty descent
• The food options are quite good
