Wahaca (Deansgate)

• Since this is the first Wahaca in Manchester
• The tequila margaritas (tamarind and white peach) were perfect accompaniment to our street food assortment
• 1 Grilled corn on the cob and Churros with chocolate as dessert
• Everything was tasty and perfectly presented
• The dark chocolate sauce was worth wiping the cup clean
• The service was warm and prompt
• Bright and open with lots of Mexican artefacts and the same Day Of The Dead inspired toilet door signs
• Street food dishes are primarily tacos
• Like most tapas style restaurants dishes are brought to the table as and when they&rsquo
• Avocado and crispy onions with chipotle mayo and crab with chipotle mayo &
• The seafood was beautifully fresh and the soft textures a great contrast to the crispy tortillas
• Rewind to several years ago and I was watching Thomasina Miers on Masterchef
• While the pork tacos were a bit too spicy for me and the service is pretty slow at lunchtime
